All ASM unitholders need to change new passbook & have new account number (from current 9 digits to new 12 Digits).

FYI currently only ASNB branch are ready for it, CIMB & Pos is the process of "upgrading" the system for ASM

ASNB announces income distribution of 6.45 sen, highest distribution in 13 years

The allocation for the distribution involves RM107.57 million payments sees an increase of 7.28 per cent compared to RM100. 27 million last year.

PNB chairman Tun Ahmad Sarji Abdul said the payment will benefit 1.26 million shareholders who have invested 1.66 billion units of 1.66 billion.

According to PNB President and Chief Executive officer, Tan Sri Hamad Kama Piah Che Othman based on the capacity, ASNB could pay 11.2 sen per unit.

Until Dec 22, 2014, ASN has clinched a gross income of RM138.99 million involving contributions from the sales of shares which totaled an approximate RM89.68 million or 64.5 per cent.

Dividend income from investment in companies have contributed a staggering RM39.01 million or 28.1 per cent while the balance of RM10.30 million or 7.4 per cent was derived from other instruments.

maybe next is ASD > ASN2 > ASW > AS1M > ASB/ASN

OMG! I just saw the ASN dividend history & u know what.
20sen dividend in year 1981

Bear in mind that the dividend from 1981 to 1990 was based on fixed unit price while from 1991 onwards, it's variable pricing..

I think those holding ASW & ASM are more "conservative" type of people which only withdraw when it's the last option.
while those holding AS1M is more "open" people where they add & withdraw when they have better option to invest.
Remember not everyone invested in AS1M & when the 1st divvy is out, the fund already sold-out (those invested AS1M took the risk even when some bankers told the fund only would pay 4% p.a divvy)

already mention only ASNB branch are ready for it. CIMB & PM is in the process of upgrading their system. Maybe only next week can try to ask & see if they're ready for it

So now need to know only if RHB is ready for it.

Now got NAV & value (RM) column

p/s: Old Passbook better looking & quality also veli good

same size la.. if bigger, cost more $$$ & indirectly reduces our divvy

kinda brownish a bit..

fund name is Amanah Saham Malaysia (ASM), same. no changes there..

only now have NAV & value (RM) column

nope, didn't get any ASM units today (after change passbook). but managed to get rm100 ASW2020
NAV column didn't print anything. juz blank only.

printed B/F at kod urusniaga column & at my last balance (unit) only..

maybe when deposit @ tou-up, then only print NAV @ rm1

ASN from FP year 1981 until 1990 to VP from year 1991 onwards...

but I think cannot pakai one because most ASN holders "convert" to ASB after the change lo

currently only ASN.. that also years back.

I really hope they don't change it. if not ASNB better prepared for mass withdrawal by malaysian public

I also join the club.. confirm closed ASM account if change to VP.

So I can conclude that only AS1M & ASB2 risk of being converted to VP fund

I'm sure ASNB would inform all unitholders. I think need to get SC & unitholder approval before can change

well, if they ask to vote, before voting. I already cabut with all my $$ confirm mass withdrawal

Those ASM unitholders who fail to do tis week or planning to change new passbook, please do b4 ASB transaction is open. It took me around 25min just to do it

I overheard the staff talking to another staff that one need to "closed" the current account, open new account, get the new number & transfer the balance unit into the new ASM account. Later need to get confirmation from bank supervisor who have the ASNB code to print the details onto the new passbook

yup. many things to do. I can see the staff face. NOT Happy at all (in heart cursing me for coming to change the new passbook)
