next time u ask teller "saya nak buka akaun baru saham gemilang", "harga naik turun punya". don't tell ASG. sometimes they confused

but u already have those 3 fund passbook. It's much more easier to "try luck". There's people out there only have 1 fund only

no prob. Normally I don't reply to this kind of Question, but when u told that the teller said ASG no units than I knew what's the problem.

almost same problem. I ask for ASM, the teller mistaken as ASN, so they said need to see price 1st then only can buy I like wtf. then I said "saham Malaysia, buku warna emas punya"

if open on 31 Dec 2014 or before that, can get free 10units of ASB2. Now no more that offer

Actually your aunt cannot buy any units in your behalf but if have ASNB authorization form sign by u. then maybe can buy. Most of the time the teller won't take the risk even with authorization form & would ask the unitholder to be there to deposit

the person who found your slip cannot do much. cannot even withdraw your ASB money.

but they might know your house address (via daftar pemilih SPR using your IC Number) unless your current address is different from SPR record

Maybank teller didn't ask for authorization form? I tot it's standard for all ASNB transaction if u doing for others

it's also depend on how much $$ u do transaction / CASA in the branch. ikan bilis customer not counted

but I suspect maybe they trying to increase ASB2 unitholders number.. now instant get 15,492 unitholders & when the children grow-up, they'll top-up own money/loans & would directly increase the funds take-up rate or size (if 10bil sold-out)

should be because ASB2 only for bumi or muslim non-bumi

wikipedia stated that the program focus on those low income families & lived in Rural or Semi-Urban areas

Only ASB is tax free aka don't need tax waiver thingy.. Not sure about ASB2

Others funds need to ask for tax waiver & will extend it when the time come
