Hi guys, I have a question.. I am a 4mbps subscriber for many years. But whenever I check my internet speed via speedtest.net, my download speed is always below 2mbps.. sometimes 2mbps.. never reach above 3mbps. How can I fix this? or is this normal?

Thanks!

Yes, there are few streamyx users at /k section said they received the email.

So far, 2,4 and 8 Mbps users received such email.

Mind to tell us on your location and building type?

I also got the email but the problem with the email is seems like for UniFi users. The email all got UniFi link, logo and so on. Plus I am an 2 Mbps user with no support at all for upgrade to higher speeds. They said don't support due to old cylinder box. Wait UniFi for so long but still no news from them whether from TMPoint or UniFi itself. Hmmm.

Eh? Why 12 of replies (including both of you) are all located at Peninsular?
No one from Sarawak and Sabah receive such email? hmm.gif

At least we can conclude building type doesn't matter.

Ok that is weird. Maybe some of us got a chance to upgrade to UniFi? UniFi is coming soon to these areas?

JB, landed house, streamyx 384k, I received the email too, what is the significance of it? Thought it is just a TQ msg. My area has Unifi but fully taken up.

So lucky. Some of us even cannot upgrade to 4 Mbps or higher pack. Don't even begin with UniFi. sad.gif

speed upgrade? i wont put mine hope too high lol. after all this is tm, later sure got many reason like infrastructure limitation ...

one more thing, if really want more user to get benefit from this "upgrade", better expand unifi coverage rather than implement those thing like vdsl vectoring lol, since fiber optic is the future. smile.gif

They are expanding the coverage, but the area of which the expansion is taking place is mystery I guess. My hometown got unifi at neighbouring residence (high-rise building) but my residence (grounded houses) didn't. While my uncle living in lunas already get his Unifi upgrade last month. sweat.gif
