Torrent Capped at 20-35kBps, anyone else?
Torrent tested on Unifi and Time has decent speed. sad.gif

Surfing + Youtube 720p is fine.

EDIT:
Port forwarded.
IP tested :
175.x.x.x
115.x.x.x
60.x.x.x

Yes. It's been weeks now. But mine usually less than 20kBps. Resetting the router can sometimes make the speed increase to more than 100kBps but usually it will go down to less than 20kBps a few minutes later.

Direct downloading can get more than 400kBps.

Anybody else experiencing this?

hi guys, i applied for 4mb streamyx last 2 weeks ago. The technician came to install and found out that i'm having very low SNR margin. Thus, he cancelled my order and i'm currently using 1mb only.
Is there any solution or will the tmnet technician fix the port/cabinet for me in order i can use up to 4mb? my neighbours are using up to 8mb streamyx package right now.

Any one of you facing slow youtube streaming?

Open other videos (e.g. from FB, daily motion and etc) and online surfing is very smooth. But when streaming youtube, it is damn slow. mainly 144p, sometimes even will lag with 144p!

Have tried the google DNS method but still the same.

I thought 4mb can stream 360p smoothly.. sigh..

Been having this issue for the past 4 months. Have to press the refresh a couple of times. At night it's even worse, 144p is playable.

The YouTube lag issue (when other streaming work fine) is due to TM's lameass CDN.

It seems like not just me having this issue. lol..

i found a weird solution. i notice if i restart my modem, then straight away play that video and it will stream very fast.

but when want to watch the next one, have to restart again... shakehead.gif

It shows which CDN is used to stream your Youtube videos. CDN depends on location and IP range.

If any CDN is poor, reboot your modem and you get a better CDN.

Still doesn't solve the heart of the problem which is the trickle downloading of torrents. Before this was smooth sailing...
