but just now crucible gave few rares lvl 20 armors n gun. shoots up to level 25

Really boring when there is no bounty for crucible.

I searched but seem to get mix result. Anyone know for sure if I would get anything besides weapon parts or sapphire wire from dismantle legendary or exotic gear? Maybe some ascendant upgrade stuff

Thanks to the RNG, I got few extra titan chest piece for my level 4 char. Which of the legendary should I keep for the sake of switching exotic gear slot later on if I decide to switch class? I would then sacrifice one for science and the hope of getting upgrade mats such as ascendent energy

So I'm curious about how you folks feel about the lootgame, what do you think about it?

After putting in 14+ hours in the postgame and getting a total of 3 legendary engrams, of which only 1 resulted in actual legendary gear, I feel like I'm not getting enough out of the game considering the time I've invested in it. Bungie needs to adjust some of the drop rate, or give a higher chance of legendary engrams turning into legendary gear.

The only reason I"m still playing it is because there's no other game that I'm interested in right now but once that release calendar heats up come Christmas, you'll be sure that I'm playing a different game by then. The current content in the game is too threadbare to hold my attention, and I suspect it'll be the same for others.

I've been playing Diablo II for 10 years and only managed to secure <10 legendaries that fit my characters. Played WoW for 6 months till level cap and zero legendary although I'm an aggressive raiders. It's just bad luck, but I kept playing anyway.

I'm not feeling my gears at all. Something is missing in my arsenals. Someone point me the right direction of doing/playing it right?

Those that have played and invested time in many mmorpgs will find the grind and the loot system is nothing new. I believe even those that came from early Diablo III days will find the loot system a child's play. The game is practically encouraging you to grind your way up if you look at the game as a whole. I am fine with the grind and i'm sure there are some as well. Though i do personally feel the sense of direction on where you are grinding is no where to be found. It just feels you are grinding it blindly. Sure you are grinding for an Exotic or a Legendary item but the clarity as to why is very uncertain. Nonetheless all of us just follow because thats what everyone else is doing. Once you do get an Exotic, the impact for it seems quite backstreet. However these are just my thoughts. To each of his own for this game.

Just realized it's been a while since i checked destiny forum. Been playing too obsessively

Currently at Lvl21 and grinding like crazy in crucible and strike mission for rep points and marks but it's soo effing slow

Plus, I havent been able to get any legendary or exotic weaponry/armor. Not even effing engrams. Just blue engrams that gives me effing green or blue!

The last time I had a legendary engram was when gaming with rei7 and isr25 and even that gave me an effing green weapon!!!

Man, I was hoping to reach lvl26 by today so I can join raids but it seems unlikely

For those that manage to reach lvl26 & above, share2 some tips for raids ya! Hopefully I can go raids by this weekend after constantly upping crucible rep points to buy them armors.

It's a bit difficult to compare but I'm guessing that Diablo legendaries are more akin to Exotic gear in Destiny (highest tier of rarity). That drop rate still sounds nuts though, I imagine you stuck with the game because the gameplay is engaging.

The problem with the low legendary gear drop rate in Destiny is that you're locked out of content if you're not a high enough level. I'm at level 24 right now and ostensibly cannot progress further until I get legendary armour. At this point, I'm locked out of the level 28 Weekly Nightfall Strike and am underleveled to do the level 26 raid at a reasonable difficulty.

My guess is that you'll be able to join the raid from level 24, if it follows the strike playlists that unlock once you reach two levels below the playlist level. I am at level 24 wearing rare gear only, with maxed out armour upgrades from doing bounties.
