why exynos? for the build in LTE or for the more cores thing?
is it more efficient than qualcomm's 805?
i'm thinking qualcumm would be better as it has more support from the xda cummunity?
Simply because its something new in terms of architecture :) For me right, as long as got debloated rooted rom quite ok ready. Custom kernel is a bonus. And actually if we get thr exynos we will have the kernel dev god andreilux
I don't care about AOSP so the whole #blamesung thing doesn't matter to me :D
Im just a hardware freak so the exynos is definitely more interesting this time around. Maybe for the note 5 I'll go back to snapdragon.
Why not just ban this troll from appearing in this forum? It just like the crystal clear river water been polluted by shit...
Anyway back to Note4 or EDGE topic. Anyone know the launch date(s) of Note 4 or EDGE in Malaysia or Singapore? Probably I will go to SG to buy EDGE if it is not launched in Malaysia. Hard to ban Samsung if it not launch the EDGE in Malaysia. I already addicted to the Stylus... I hardly to accept other brand if ask me to use other phone.

just wait till note 4 package release by maxis. not that far also, later regret more
on maxis, depends on the plan you subscribe. the higher the monthly $$ is, the lower price for device will be. also, are you currently maxis user? if you are maxis user more than 1 year, you are waive from paying the advance payment as well.
my Q : is note 4 can be chg rom as easy as note 2? any restriction like KNOX, warranty void n etc?
I'm subscribing to 128 one plan. Just port my number from celcom to maxis again. I guess I cannot avoid paying RM512. Trade in offer for S5 and M8 really appealing but I need a bigger battery. I've used htc and xiaomi before, guess it's time to use Samsung.

if not mistaken the trade in offer until yesterday only
Based on the above on above review, the note 4 and note 3 actual battery usage is about the same. If same with note3 battery life is very good already since note 4 spot a QHD display. Fast charge is working in exynos version also. Another interesting point is the night shot photo is improved vs samsung s5. The camera module is from samsung isocell instead of sony.

glad to hear that exynos also support 30 min charge 50%
He just like and enjoying jabbing Samsung users and expound IOS superiority A habit I noted he has since Note/Note2 days. His words n phrases are now exactly similar to the banned famed forumer KuLi. Something he cannot hide...he had posted too under several usernames too when banned.
oh no... him again... dang.... any one got any idea its launching in Msia/? My S3 dying on me.. the charging port is giving me too many headaches and sleepless nights... now waiting for this to come to me... lol

As expected, exynos version less heat due to smaller manufacturing process. Hope that will be the version we will get it here.

Cant comment much on note4's exynos but on tab s 8.4 , its hotter compared to mipad , doing only 2 things , playing COC n kaypo-ing in lyn while waiting for troops 2 cook . However , tab s is much thinner/slimmer compared 2 mipad so that might be a reason as well why it felt hotter while the heat on mipad is least obvious .

If I not mistaken, tab s 8.4/10.5 use exynos 5422 which is still 28nm soc. exynos 5433 and 5430 is 20nm soc. This should help improve power consumption and less heat generation.
Hope that note 4 is not warmer than note 3. The metal frame is better heat conductor than plastic. This could result warmer to touch as gsmarena mention in galaxy alpha review:
