Yeah, it would be cool if you could post the map.
I had nothing better to do so I went into Google Earth and did a guesstimate of the route tongue.gif My route is around 10K but I think it should be somewhere around there. Hehe, lets see if my guessing skills are top notch sweat.gif
But then again my route blocks too many main roads...so its probably not it.

Aaahhh the route's exactly the same as 2 years ago. Beware of the last stretch near the stadium... just when you thought you're finishing, they make you go an extra mile, make a U-turn, then only back to the finish line. Sneaky b**tards.

Yeah - Jalan Murni, and certain parts of Jalan Tujuan. It's not as bad as those at Bukit Tunku's, but more of a long stretch of slope.

Anybody did the Mizuno 10k last Sunday? Had an "ok" time of 1.02... target under 1-hour but I totally knocked out by all the hills at Bukit Tunku! We then made our way to the Terry Fox nearby and soaked in the carnival-like atmosphere and joined in the 3km walk...
*
your timing for 10km is slightly better than mine drool.gif the best i archieve for 10km is 1hr05min in Subang 10km 4yrs back..........

eversince my performance is deterioriating due to lack of training doh.gif

hey hey.
im new here.
i love to run too.

i want to ask this question>
i run everyday[one day rest] around 20 to 30 minutes[hard intensity]and 45minutes to 1 hour[mid intensity],how can i improve my hard intensity timing to around 40minutes[10k event]?[i run alone with my polar heart rate,i dont know my actual distant]

i used to Power[bata]shoe, they are cheap..after a month,i bought nike shoe, and i had knee pain for one week!and some ppl say "u must break-in the shoe before u run with it",so,i wore that shoe to shopping mall, walking to fishing shop...after 2 weeks,i ran with it,in just 15minutes,i had MY KNEE PAIN AGAIN!izzit something wrong with the shoe or my knee?

btw,im 15 years old and my fastest time in 3km event is 11:16:25mintes,i will try to break my school record in 3k event 10:48:49minutes[1992],the record is 12 years ago,its time to break a new one!wish me luck!

PS:SORRY FOR MY BAD ENGLISH!

Faiz, alternate your runnings with sprints. It helps you to build the muscles necessary to run faster, even at long distances.

15.... good to be young though

pakai apa jua kasut yang you rasa selesa, jika Power lebih sesuai pakai lah Power. Juara dunia 3km dari Kenya lari kaki ayam shakehead.gif

jika you nak train 3km, boleh pergi Taman Tasik Titiwangsa. Sana 1 pusingan besar = 2.8km. Dulu i pun sentiasa lari sana.

Nanti otot cedera lagi susah.
