Liputan6.com, Jakarta - PT Dirgantara Indonesia (PTDI) telah bersepakat dengan Airbus Helicopters untuk memasarkan pesawat tempur asal Eropa, Eurofighter Typhoon. Kerjasama ini disebutkan berlangsung karena Airbus mau mentransfer teknologi yang dimilikinya ke Indonesia lewat PTDI.

Budi Santoso, Direktur Utama PTDI mengaku sangat mengapresiasi kerjasama yang dilakukan antara pihaknya dengan Airbus. Ia pun berharap perusahaan kedirgantaraan lain dari seluruh dunia mau melakukan kemitraan serupa dengan PTDI.

"Semoga nanti ada lagi yang mau bekerjasama kaya begini walaupun saya yakin tak banyak yang akan mau melakukan transfer teknologi seperti yang sudah dilakukan oleh Airbus. Bahkan saya bilang tak akan ada lagi perusahaan lain yang akan mau secara terbuka memberikan transfer teknologi semua produknya ke kita," ujar Budi.

Ungkapan rasa pesimis itu diungkapkan Budi bukan tanpa alasan. Menurutnya, teknologi militer merupakan bagian penting dari keamanan dan rahasia negara. Karena itulah kemungkinan vendor jet tempur mau bermitra dengan melibatkan transfer teknologi sangat kecil.

"Bagaimanapun teknologi militer itu rahasia negara. Kebanyakan perusahaan tidak akan mau melakukan transfer teknologi militernya karena berkaitan dengan rahasia negaranya, tapi Airbus kan bentuknya konsorsium negara Eropa jadi bukan sekedar rahasia satu negara makanya mereka mau bagi sama kita," ungkap Budi.

Kerjasama yang dilakukan oleh Airbus dengan PTDI diklaim sebagai kemitraan strategis yang unik. Ludovic Boistor, President Director Airbus Helicopter Indonesia mengklaim sistem kerjasama yang dilengkapi transfer teknologi seperti yang dilakukan Airbus dan PTDI tak pernah dilakukan pesaingnya.

"Kita berikan edukasi dan transfer teknologi milik Airbus kepada PT DI. Mereka nantinya akan membantu pemasaran, maintenance, dan service produk Eurofighter maupun helikopter ke pasar Indonesia," ungkap Ludovic kepada tim Tekno Liputan6.com di pameran Indo Defence 2014.

As i have stated few years back, China was going to design their own transport plane. Now Y-20 is flying in Zhuhai. The big bird really flies great



This year in Zhuhai UAV is no longer the center stage. China has not been showing their newer stealth UAV

Still waiting for news where Shenyang will be producing an upgrade design for the J-11

Yes, you cracked it!
It is a medium transport plane with a high-set wing and four 6-blade prop engines, thus it is a C-130/A400 copy. This is the absolute truth.
