hi bro, the issue been solved. this is due to my mom inserting a sd card which is not suitable and causing it keep going blackout. once the card taken out, the issue gone.

im on v45 already,latest update.

After 3 months of using it like how i used my Nokia 3310 and C3, i can confirm now Redmi 1S is now a comparable quality phone to the godlike durability of my Nokias. Its ridiculous how reliable and sturdy it is. I'm loving it so much now. That original Xiaomi TPU case is a must buy if you do not have a case for it. My TPU case is so scratched up and faded and has rubbed sheen here and there. This is the shit!!!

That setting inside the default security app (which is the same or linked to the setting under battery settings) does not help with the heat issue or the laggy performance. Browsing on 1 tab will still send the temps to 38C under the (default) cpu balanced setting. I think all the performance setting does is to adjust how many apps can run in the background and the throttling limit.
