QUOTE(kalvinkhoo @ Sep 23 2014, 10:53 AM) Haha.. But OPT so expensive This post has been edited by roxx: Sep 23 2014, 11:04 AMDepends on 'type' of washing you're looking for.. I'm looking into something fast and easy but able to clean thoroughly.. I already order the Makita. Much cheaper! Uik? where you get it? U might want to share as most of us are looking into makita if the price cheaper than others.. I get it from my friend who work in a maintainance company. U wan i can get for you but a bit exp. RM3. Right now still in 'thinking' mode.. By the way Velvet Pad cuts alot man i feel that... I've seen a lot of detailers use velvet pad to level OP.. 1 of the master told me that using sand paper 'easier to control' i/o velvet pad.. So I just keep my VP first.. |

QUOTE(thom_chai @ Sep 23 2014, 11:00 AM) Hmm how to describe. Not as smooth as polishing the paint that's for sure. The velvet pad won't exactly glide smooth on the paint and the fact you need a steady and constantly moving the buffer and also evenly cover the entire panel. Mind you, the panel gets real hot after that. I'm on 1400rpm. For edge and corner, I switch to small 3" velvet pad and with the small pad, much more easier to control. Thanks for the feedback master.. QUOTE(KrisMas @ Sep 23 2014, 11:02 AM) Aiyo....that's paint la. I'm referring to other types of coating....like 22ple, Sonax, ArtDeShine, DG Nano Glass, etc. can now buy locally and DIY already.... Lol.. At first I was so shocked to see aeon selling this.. later only know it's different.. Master, may I know the 'durability' of all products you listed here? |

Can I use household steamer that used to iron cloth to clean fabric seat? Just curios whether it can be done or not..
Was thinking to dilute water with APC into the container and just rub the seat.. Can it? In another words sorry if this is a silly question.. |

QUOTE(KrisMas @ Sep 27 2014, 07:00 PM) Sealants mostly sheet...that's why most don't have as nice beading as wax. But the better quality waxes have strong beading properties to the point that they're very effective in sheeting also. But nowadays the 'hybrids' are coming...sealants that contains wax...good and fast sheeter and bead quite nice also. Good example would be Megs UQWax paste. Even better example is Dodo Juce Supernatural Hybrid...damn tempted to get one but...haven't open most of my waxes/sealants for quite some tome already.... Thanks master.. So far am using DG501 with OID and kinda like it.. Havent touch BSD bcoz sayang want to use.. Want a suggestion....slap on any sealant (or AIO) then top it up with Sonax BSD...nice and strong beading and sheeting. I've tried DG501 then buff off residue with BSD....it's *almost* like having the best of both worlds. |

QUOTE(KrisMas @ Sep 28 2014, 07:22 AM) Some of us mostly just drop by their HQ cuz, if lucky enough, can still get a little discount (and some times freebies) even if it's not officially on sale. Haven't gone in shopping mall for a while now, but i used to see them in Giant, Parksons and ACE....not sure if these places still carries them. Now no more in giant and tesco for BSD.. Shampoo got.. Or maybe only certain places got.. |

QUOTE(ZeroSP @ Sep 28 2014, 06:22 PM) Both sheets and beads differently. One is slightly more expensive. Both bottles can last you very long time. Thanks master for your info.. Mind to share which is expensive? I dont mind paying as long 1 bottle can use up to 10~15 cars (cost saving) instead of cheap but can use up to 5~6 carsReload on dark colored cars, just pay a little more attention for streaking. Some fellas at Autogeek recommended to dilute, but I never try before. QUOTE(MyWifeCar @ Sep 28 2014, 06:43 PM) Hei Bro, since you are looking for sealant... Put 1 more into the list, Iron Gloss from Dodo Juice. How much and where I can get it master?http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dp0I36B6P0M I think Sonax Polymer Net Shield is also a sealant. QUOTE(KrisMas @ Sep 28 2014, 07:42 PM) Am looking at cost saving product but best at durability/protection (sheet/rain repellent) and of course deep gloss if possible.. Any suggestion master? If possible anything that can source locally ya master (online/LYN/distributor) Thanks master2 sekalian.. |
