Yup. Easy to clean too....just remember to wash it straight away after use and don't wait until the next day or your next 'free time'... whistling.gif

roxx...ooppss...forgot (or rather didn't have the time to tell you that day) about application method. For me, I prefer to wipe on with a foam pad...leave it for a little while (like 15mins or so) then apply again adding only a teeny weeny bit of product on the foam pad and keep on wiping until the surface clears up. I found that the WOWA (Wipe On Walk Away) method didn't work as good. Maybe you can try it next time ya....
*
Alamak.. Hahaha nevermind.. That day also both of us in rush so no time to ask or explain further..

Yes I use foam pad. At first was thinking to use the MF applicator but thinking to keep those..

Ok will try next time.. thumbup.gif

dressing = attract dust

What should we use (as alternative to dressing product) for keeping our engine look at it's best? Need recommendation please. Thanks notworthy.gif

nothing.

because regular detailing stuff wouldn't stand the heat, and those that would will have an oil film and that's what attract more dust/dirt.

Daily driven cars require more frequent MAINTENANCE, much like changing engine oil, the more distance you travel the more frequent you'd need to make the oil change. It's not about the dressing, it's about 'you'. Clean often enough, you don't really need dressings. Same goes to sealants/waxes. Wash your car often enough you don't really need these 'sacrificial protective layer' since contaminant don't have time to attack the paint. But in the real world, you'd need them since you won't be washing your car each and every day... sweat.gif
*
Lol.. The thing that i scared most - washing the engine.. So I guess I just leave it first

*Opening manual handbook to learn the engine component parts and everything.. sweat.gif

I thought you should open up the front hood and study it instead....

If yours is not turbo or hybrid, then should be pretty simple.
*
Yes.. Basic things to do - open hood and inspect the compartments components end everything..

But still scared leh.. sweat.gif

Nvrmind, tomorrow cuti I study.. icon_idea.gif

Im confuse, if i wanna wax.. I should use DG105 or DG501?
*
Let me clarify on this..

DG501 : Polish - Clean - Sealant (AIO) product

DG105 : Polish - ??

For wax : DG Aquawax (wax only spray type)

I used DG501 and I never bother to wax my car after wash.. Just use spray wax (maybe I will or not) as a topper on my next wash..

Hope this helps..

Anyway today want to go KD to get OCW but due to bad traffic unable to reach there on time.. Aiyohhh..

If just wanna 'wax', DG105. If wanna 'deep clean' and polish a little bit of those *very* light swirls, light waterspots, staining, etc. then DG501, and the 'wax' in it is quite decent as well so you don't really need to slap a layer of 'wax' again after using it.

Just to clarify. DG105 isn't really an AIO per se. It just has some solvent in it which would do a little bit of cleaning. DG501 is slightly more agressive and able to lightly polish the surface. Can't remember whether it contains abrasive or not.
*
Thanks for your explanation on DG105.. Still cannot get my hand to do review using it.. Lol

DG501 contains nano abrasive as what I read in AG.. It still can remove light swirl marks from what I see..

Aquawax is a sealant.

Never felt aquawax as a sealant since I'm using DG501 doh.gif

That's why want to buy OCW

Next time do testing without DG501 and see the result..

Hi guys, I need some help and guidance.

I was meant to apply touch up paint to some spots on my car just now, but I accidentally applied too much, hence I used a cloth to rub it away, THEN i begin to realize that the area that I just rubbed is fading and become blurry (like the pic below).

My car is just one year old, please help and tell me how I can restore it??

Sifus, to clean fabric seats without extractor or steamer, can i do the following:

1. lightly spray the fabric cleaner/APC directly on the fabric seats.
2. brush the seat
3. wipe with damp MF cloth.
4. lightly spray water on the seat
5. wipe with damp MF cloth
6. wipe with/press blob with dry cloth
7. leave car in sun to dry off

is it advisable to spray the product directly onto the seats? because without extractor, a little bit of APC will always be left over right?  looking at TW's fabric cleaner advertisement, it just spray right on top of the fabric seats, brush, and wipe away.  although it is a foaming type product.

QUOTE(KrisMas @ Sep 10 2014, 08:40 AM)
If you intend to use the APC, when you're done, I would suggest you use a wet/dry vacuum to 'extract' as much water as possible FROM UNDERNEATH THE FABRIC before drying. Under those fabrics are sponges that tends to hold water, and you know how difficult it is for sponges to get totally dry.

If you don't have a wet/dry vacuum, I'd suggest you use those type of fabric cleaner in aerosol can that foam, much like the one in the video you posted. These 'foam' is 'dryer', much of it would stay on the surface and doesn't penetrate *much* into the fabric. It also won't leave the fabric too wet and doesn't contain much water to extract. I've used the 3M Scotchbrite Fabric cleaner and it worked very well. Stubborn stain required a few rounds of cleaning but, in term of drying time, just need a few hours under our scorching sun.

Oh...if you still want to use APC, might I suggest you remove the seats when doing them so that you can leave them DIRECTLY under the sun for drying...more effective that way.

Am using Armor All carpet&upholstery cleaner foam and for me its easy to use..

Spray armor all foam on fabric
Leave about 1 minute
Agitate with soft brush
Wipe residue with MF

From my experienced, STP Tuff Stuff cleans faster than armorall even though from the same company.. My personal opinion only ya..

As what master krismas inform about *penetration* I agree on that.. Take about couple of hours to dry..

Another thing master krismas, I went to 2 AceHardware outlets (MV/Ikano) but still couldnt find dawn power dissolver.. doh.gif

Which lines? Their consumer line that sells in the stores or those new ones in silver-ish sprayer bottle? I've tried a couple of stuffs in the consumer line (normal black bottles)and they are decent enough...nothing to shout about but good enough for general use. Haven't tried those that are in the silver-ish bottles...don't know if they're the same or different. I also have a few of their 3M Perfect It compounds/polishes...good...but not so promising. I like their buffing pads though....
Time starts at around 9.30pm until....well...some times it could go until the wee hours...

Meaning to stop by there later this afternoon after work...well...not really 'there' there but plan to do some groceries shopping at Jaya Grocer and ACE is just beside it. You want me to get you one if I can find it there? I can pass it to you at the TT....
*
Thanks Master.. But am having free time today thus planning to go Ace for DPD.. Want to detail but weather macam mau hujan..
