wrapped some alu foil.  just simply choose those with connectors and wrap.  and i think i didn't wrap all of them lols.  so far the engine still ok

covering the top part of the alternator.  so the degreaser won't sprayed into it.

splassssshhhhh~! it was like taking a leap of faith, haha! and oh ya i do wear a polyethylene glove for my hand protection.

double attack, spray with Osren Fabric Cleaner (which i use it as APC) then wait 1-2 mins. then rinse down, then spray with degreaser then start brushing.

SHOCKKKK to discovered that the service technician (from 3S centre) forgot to plug back the hose/air tube!         that opening is on air intake route, and the throttle body is just down there!  super duper worried if water or even degreaser already get in...  quickly wipe the opening of damp cloth and then plug it back in.  at the end, no problem to the engine. phewww.

brushh~!  i use another smaller longer brush for deeper part.  not shown here. you can see it in the photo where it shows all my kaaa cannggg.

driedd~!  didn't use hair dryer lols. just start engine and let the heat to dry.  see lots of youtube video doing that, so...  and oh ya, i didn't use any dressing this time.  don't wanna gather the dust and sand so fast.  so i guess my engine won't beads water lols!  but its not like i want to rinse my engine so often.. so no need beading should be ok?

some parts clean

some parts don't. i really need to pay more attention and improve my brush work.  most of the deeper area still covered with dirt lols. degreaser alone can't bring it down, need brushing.  but when it is all wet, it all looks so watery and darkened and difficult to see dirt. maybe i need better lighting?
