Lesson of the day, never use fone on 1% battery

for Lithium Ion batteries which is used in most smartphones these days... its very bad to actually fully deplete the battery. it behaves opposite of nickel metal hidrate which needs to complete discharge, else you get "memory effect".

Thats one of the reasons too.
Do remember that
nickel–metal hydride battery (NiMH) batteries does not have memories on how often you charge your phone. Therefore it is not neccessary to use your phone till it drains out and recharge it. Risking using your phone to this level may actually damage your phone or the contents and data in it as it could suddenly shut down due to lack of power left in the batteries.
errr... boss... you mean Lithium Ion, right?
