Guys... Why my opo doesnt show 4g signal... Only H+... Do i need to flash other band? Mine is china set and using celcom

In term of spec,  they are quite similar.  But in term of design i prefer opo.  Bored with iphone like design.

there is no such thing as which one is better. its all depends on your preferences.

features wise, mi4 is superior to OPO. but mi4 is stuck with MIUI for forever.

as for OPO, u get a dedicated cm11s and you could flash with other custom roms too.

If she doesn't like it, I'd like to buy it from you, if my China OPO still got network issues. I hope you'd be kind with the price. =)
You need to know that you'll never be able to change ROM  on the Mi 4. If you like the Nexus or pure Android user interface, your choice with Mi 4 would be very limited. You can only use Google now launcher and that's it.

But Mi 4 camera will undoubtedly be very good. Coz I owned Mi 3 and the photo are just amazing. I missed it.

i owned Mi3 for couple of weeks before ditched it for OPO. the camera is just ordinary to me nothing wow about xiaomi phone. but OPO camera is way way better and even so good in low light!

xiaomi... price is attractive and there's definitely good chance it will be officially available in Malaysia. but wondering if they will do flash sales style or pre-order.

my only issue with XiaoMi so far (based on what i have read) is the lack of custom ROMs + speed of official ROM updates. getting the latest version isn't really about kiasu thing but rather, sometimes these updates have good security patches.

specs wise, very similar to OPO. their front facing is actually better... but that's on paper.

size wise... some ppl like it big, some like it small. so, depends.

i've seen some mi3 camera shots (supposedly good ones shared on the net). they weren't really impressive.

i've seen good shots by OnePlus that was ahared on the net... dem good. but...

seriously, tried taking photos on OnePlus... under bright conditions, the camera is OK. but low lights... its quite disappointing. the noise is quite obvious.

and my really, really main issue with OnePlus camera is... its dem slow to start up. i was hoping that with such high end specs, one can immediately launch the camera and take photos (like s4) but sadly... i find the camera a bit too slow for my liking.

No for me, I don't even want to try it after fiddle around for a minute.

I've been using Mi 3 for nearly 2 months and since you're asking me, yes, I think its better than OPO. i mean, its pretty easy to get a photo to look good with Mi 3. i cant say the same for OPO.

anyways, both OPO and Mi 3 camera does provide pretty extensive manual settings in the camera. It is especially useful if you have an experience handling a DSLR, which if that's case, you'll love all these manual settings. like i do.

Ok, both got slow exposure, but Mi 3 range is even wider, you can control from 1/5000s    to 2 secs max, while OPO, only slow exposure, ranging from 1 sec to 8 secs max (which is much slower than Mi 3 2 secs, which is good). so each got their own advantage, like with Mi 3 u can specifically set high shutter speed even for dark environments, in order to capture certain subject..

Mi 3 got manual focus (for photo mode only), but OPO doesn't.

OPO have 4k video, and slow mo video at 1080p (720p) and 720p (120fps). Mi 3 only 1080p n no slow mo.

ISO on Mi 3 is wider range from 100 to 3200, while OPO from 100 to 1600 only (but this can be compensated with slower shutter speed).

There are more things I'd like to highlight for Mi 3 camera but I don't have the phone anymore. and i forgot the details. all of the above are those I can recall. Below were the only screenshot I have of the camera settings.

Exactly. When I got Mi 3, it was the first time I knew that there are phones that have so many manual settings that usually only DSLR can offer. So when I wanna change to OPO, I already set my mind to low my expectation in the camera department. Then I discovered slow exposure is at least available and I'm relieved but to my dismay, I can't set the shutter speed to my heart's desire (which Mi 3 offers).
You're right. I'm still figuring out what settings is best just to match what Mi 3 can offer me last time.

So you haven't actually used the phone for a while? and what does the UI have to do with the camera photo quality?

look, i hate its UI as much as you do, especially since it's mimicking iOS with the no app drawer thing. and the fact i couldn't install any other ROMs on it is why I'm with OPO now. but if we're talking about camera, let's simply discuss it without prejudice would be best i think.
