1994 i only start with the Marvel Masterpiece saja.. other then that not into it.

I will show the pic later..knowdays very hard ton find rading card shop..at my time i always go to capricorn in cheras..but after that the tokey got bankrup and close the shop..if i'm not wrong the tokey name is raymond..

yes u r correct, Raymond Chua or Chia was the owner there. friendly guy, I think the location not that good for a comic shop at the shop lot there. only shop left now is Mind shop, comics corner, earth xxx that i know still in business.

when i started my MM94, it was not from a comic shop but from a shop selling Tshirt and assessories in S&M arcade. (Next to KOTA RAYA)..lol .. miss those comics book shop day.. everyweek go all the comics shop hunting..

So.... I was bidding against you la the other morning? Hahahaha.... Now looking for #SD3 (Man Of Steel) & #SD4 (Death) and I'm complete. The one that's been currently offered on ebay (by UK seller) is quite reasonable but when watch closely, it has some visible scratches.

I have a Promo Spiderman Skydisc (cd size). Got it from Mind Shop then for free many2 years ago but don't know in which of my many boxes is the thing placed. Need to locate the box one fine day.

Hah..I oso been to that shop once during the comic boom days. I got few X-Men Chromium packs there too.

Besides Mind Shop, I oso buy trading cards from Final frontier, Comics Corner, DCM Enterprise and a comic store in TTDI and also Atria. But all gone bust except Mind SHop and COmics Corner. Nowadays they more into gaming trading cards.

SkyDisc..are those the ones which can create a holo image when shine torch light on it?

The CD Size - Got Batman Promo nice one..

Yeah the skydisc went US18.02. I bid last minute then you outbid me ma.. LOL... wanted to buy the others also..but priority to ge tthe CD size la...lol

I check ebay daily & I've never seen a CD size Batman Skydisc. So its a do or die mission. Like I said, it'll do nice to complement my CD size Spidey Skydisc (If I can find it).

Now planning to bid Badrock . Will u be bidding for this too?

To me Skydisc is just something that I've always wanted to have ever since it was 1st produced & it eludes me cos no one here who has it in M'sia wanted to sell them & its very expensive online. It used to go as high as USD100. Now u can get it online/ebay for RM100!

Some likes skydisc becos of it rarity. Odds of pulling one out of the packs is 1:240 (8 cards per pack). Personally I don't quite like skydisc cos its difficult to actually see the movement as u spin the disc under sunlight or torchlight. I'd guess I'm one of those guys who wants it for the rarity part...

I understand the feeling perfectly well. It's not everyday u get to pull this out of the pack. And its the 1st pack. This is the kind of card u'd treasure & u can't stop talking about it when asked to relate the experience.

One of the early old skool hologram. This must be a VVHTF special card. U had it framed in special casing too.

The back of the card is completely white with that Spidey pic only?
