QUOTE(unknown @ Jun 11 2007, 02:50 AM) Hamilton 1st and Alonso 7th. but still good result for Mclaren. Ferrari just have one car finish 5th. Alonso make 3 mistakes on first corner . 28points gap now. During the lap couple of laps, Alonso is driving slow, might be saving fuel to finish the race or might have pick up some problem As for HAmilton, 1 man show

Alonso is already losing out once he ran over the grass at the start of the race. Seems like his car is having problem after that ....

No worries ler....this race is unexpected, got a stop/go penalty some more, well its Mclaren's fault for not obeying the rules. Anyway, Hamilton at 48, Alonso at 40, still got chance. This season Mclaren can sweep both championship nicely if they continue with their brilliant performance. I was surprised on their reliability too

Yeah...seriously.....he is trying too hard I guess. But some of them no choice, have to give way if not confirm collision. The 1 with Jarno Trulli....wasted, if not he can go higher up the ranks again.

Hamilton could win WDC this year. Hamilton = consistency. If he keeps doing what he is doing (which he is still doing), he will win WDC. Haha...Massa got DQ!! LOL!!

QUOTE(skylinegtr34rule4life @ Jun 11 2007, 10:38 AM) Yes, Lewis is making a huge headlines back home in UK. With this maiden win, I guess the Brits is placing high hopes on him since it has been quite some time since Nigel Mansell and Damon Hill being a champ. On the other hand, I guess Alonso is feeling the heat too from his teammate. We shall see in the upcoming USA GP. This post has been edited by htkaki: Jun 12 2007, 11:09 AM

hamilton finally won and he did it superbly. minus the SC and the dreadful accidents, he actually lead the WDC which is way beyond anybody's expectations. consistency is the key here. on the other hand too bad for alonso. looks like he's trying too hard. can't blame him for trying coz it's no brainer there's a feeling of team rivalry within the macs. on the bright side, at least he contributed to the WCC and extend our lead to 28 points.

Alonso needs to calm down and get his head down. He's clearly got the pace...the question is does he still have the mentality that made him a 2-times WC. But it's great to see Hamilton win his first race I wouldn't trade our driver line up with any team...we have the best This post has been edited by verx: Jun 11 2007, 03:00 PM

So far no rookie has done as good as Hamilton, nor leading the championship as well Heck, not a WC in rookie years too XD
