Alonzo already do the same thing in Magny Cours`05,only Kimi and Schumi in the same lap when Alonzo cross the finish lineFrance 05 Result 1 Fernando Alonso Renault 1:31:22.233 1 2 Kimi Räikkönen McLaren-Mercedes +11.8 secs 3 Michael Schumacher Ferrari +81.9 secs |

anyone know the race engineer for el Alonzo??
Added on June 6, 2007, 4:23 pm QUOTE(TOYO @ May 31 2007, 05:31 PM) engine heating nothing to do with newey... engine is under mario illien,he now in motogp...mclaren lost 3 engineer u wrong dude, aerodynamic can effect the engine heating, newey must help illien to get a lot of air to colling the engine by make a good deflector panel and turbulent air flow(side pod) but he only make an aerodynamic work to increase car speednewey - chasis (now in rbr) illien - engine (own ilmor motogp team) tombazis - aerodynamic (back to ferrari) a good aerodynamic is who can create bodywork which can increase car speed, balancing wing (oversteer and understeer) to make driver suitable and make great airflow to support engine you can read more about this in 50th Annual Formula 1 book (publish in 2001) This post has been edited by faris21: Jun 6 2007, 04:23 PM |

QUOTE(-= Virgil =- @ Jun 11 2007, 03:08 AM) Alonso is already losing out once he ran over the grass at the start of the race. Seems like his car is having problem after that .... he has problem with his car(oversteer i think)QUOTE(unknown @ Jun 11 2007, 03:09 AM) Yes. I think Alonso car have problem, but is not nice to see Sato overtake Alonso. But im very confident with Mclaren car this year. sato can overtake alonzo bcos sato use right tyre in the right time and right tempreture, alonzo really dont have grip in the final phase |

QUOTE(vin_ann @ Jun 11 2007, 11:27 PM) i think alonso will beat lewis at US,lewis has no expirience at circuit which has 45degree banking,he just have expirience to race at normal layout circuit and road circuitalonso get 7th bcos he was struggling with tyre graining and lack of grip,he also get braking assist problem and wrong fuel strategy This post has been edited by faris21: Jun 12 2007, 12:48 PM |

QUOTE(Raikkonen @ Jun 18 2007, 03:15 AM) Smart move blocking Alonso and then,Kimi Raikkonen(your 2007 World Champion) is only in P4I wonder at 1st..."...why didn't Alonso move to the right? Lewis must blocked it..." After saw the replay...yeah...Lewis did it Smart kid. Then Alonso shows his emotion the next time by driving close to the pit wall i think Constructor title is over,McLaren will get it |

But his brakes still works nicely Young people and he knows his stuff. Harian Metro? Can be trusted? I thought international source. harian metro copy the article from gazzetta |

QUOTE(htkaki @ Jun 19 2007, 02:24 PM) It it understandable that Alonso is not happy with it. A double world champ beaten by a rookie teammate. Aint a nice thing. Pressure is on him not Lewis. talking about mika,i miss him too,how he doing now,i think he racing in Daimsler Champ last year, correct me if i`m wrongRon set his sight on young Lewis and I guess Ron has made the right decision. Looking at the performance of both drivers and its cars, the other teams have to burn midnight oil to keep up. Those glory days of McLaren are back. However, I still miss Mika. |
