BTW new version of WP8.1.1 dev preview is available
Added battery saver app live tile, battery saver shortcut in action center & preferred update time
the OS runs pretty smooth for me, no significant bug found yet

Strange. My Whatsapp works fine so far. What hp model do you have? Where do you install Whatsapp? It must be installed on phone, not SD card.

I faced the greyed out tile once recently too. My WhatsApp is on phone memory.

I just removed the app and reinstalled it, now it's ok since a few days.

Using Lumia 630 Dual Sim.

Found this info on WIndows Central Forum:

"The same problem happened to me. The tile greys out because there is an app backup going on the background (The backup option found in the settings of the phone and NOT of whatsapp). You just gotta be patient for it to finish backing up( and im guessing that depends on your WiFi/2G/3G/4G speed?).

Hope this helped."

http://forums.windowscentral.com/windows-p...ps/320455-2.htm

So perhaps some backup process is working in the background?

Great info, and the next step is for MS to allow us to set the time when auto-backup happens.

Same here!!! thumbup.gif thumbup.gif rclxms.gif

But I'm worried if the current apps like Waze, Whatsapp, etc are compatible with Win10

Hello guys, would someone kindly give me an answer to these questions as I came from android environment.

1. Is Nokia 1520 running officially on Windows 8.1? Asking this because I want a windows phone/tablet but not sure if it can run flash files from my laptop. Attached is the screenshot of the files.

In my laptop, I just click on player.exe and it runs and kinda unpack the rest of the files.

2. In windows phone, can we run say for example CCleaner like we do in laptops? (example)

Would appreciate your inputs and thanks a lot!!
