Question: I'd like to pay for the Readit app (for some reason - not available when the region is set as Msia) but there's a few problems

A) I can't pay by credit card since the "country" field automatically follows the region that my phone is configured in
B) PayPal is out of the question
C) Microsoft Gift Cards - only available in the Singapore store but for a minimum denomination of $20 (!)

Anyone tried using the gift card before... or have any other ways to go around this?

That was my go-to app before actually - but the developer has stopped updating the app for a while now (he got a job at MS apparently), so there's quite a bit of a bug issue...

What kind of bug? I dint encounter any bug other than the app crash if imgur photo album >100image

Lumia 920 - battery drain quite fast after denim update.

So yeah, my Lumia 800 is now dead after it decided to take a dip in the sea.

Am now considering Lumia 640 XL, or is there any other recommendation for something similar?

My lumia 620 acting weird after using for 2 years, some apps sometimes cannot start, just jump back to desktop. Someday later it works again but other apps that work before cannot work now.

Reboot the phone even worse, sometimes the phone cannot boot up or boot up unable to detect sim card. Need to press soft reset with luck can boot up normally.

Time for a new phone?

It happens to my 1520 too.
And I realise it is caused by some app that is buggy

I like the build quality, it feels very premium.
Camera is quite good but not as good as pureview.
Lumia 800 is wp7.8, if you switch to wp8.1 you will see a hell lot of improvements
If the price is ok for you I recommend you to buy it

Happen to my 920 too.

Sometime got full LTE, but cant load anything unless I reboot the phone.

Got one time, my screen stucked at glancescreen. Cant unlock, cant reboot, cant soft reset, cant answer phone. Have to wait till the battery went flat.

Luckily left 27% that time. Batter went flat in 2hrs.

Microsoft really need a flagship release now

for a budget phone, lumia 640 and 535 (or any model in between), which one is recommended? A phone comparable to my current 620 is enough

yeah, hell lot of improvement, like screencap (since 7.8 don't have )

Definitely 640
535 screen is awful, it's a 520 screen but bigger size
But you have to pay more for 640
and I don't like the gloss finish of the 640 back cover, I prefer matte finish like 640xl. It's just my personal preference.

thanks for the advice, my 620 just now reboot itself and never get back. i will buy 640 tomorrow eventhough it is higher price. seems 535 got a very bad reputation with touch screen problem
