I am currently using Lumia 535. I think the touch screen issue is due to improper grounding of the charger or power socket. When you use power bank to charge, the problem won't surface until you use AC charger to charge. Overall this Lumia is good, won't feel slowdown although using Snapdragon 200.

the touch screen problem can be fixed by software update, but it also lacks clear black display

now ori Malaysia set only have 3g dual sim model. 4g dual sim version will be released through telcos sooner or later
there are 4 different variants all together, 3g single sim, 3g dual sim, 4g single sim & 4g dual sim. All 4 variants are identical. The only way to differentiate is read from the packaging box or put in sim card to test.

I saw one forumer selling around 700 something, not sure is ori or ap set

update: Directd is selling at 769 ori set

Question: I'd like to pay for the Readit app (for some reason - not available when the region is set as Msia) but there's a few problems

A) I can't pay by credit card since the "country" field automatically follows the region that my phone is configured in
B) PayPal is out of the question
C) Microsoft Gift Cards - only available in the Singapore store but for a minimum denomination of $20 (!)

Anyone tried using the gift card before... or have any other ways to go around this?

Thanks in advance!

The Readit app is now available in Malaysia region. It is also free now.
Download it here

I just went to directd website and to my surprise it is stated there as original set with one year warranty by nokia malaysia, is that real? What if I claim my warranty from let's say the newly opened Microsoft store at klcc?

now only got 3g dual sim, so you have to wait for some time until LTE version is launched by Microsoft Malaysia.
but during the launch of 3g dual sim version, they did mentioned about LTE version will be launched through telcos

if it is ori then it should have avaxx or zitron stickers.
You can claim warranty from Microsoft Malaysia if it is ori set, include those ori set you buy from reseller

If I have the luxury of waiting, I would, but as of now, my Lumia 800 decided to skinnydipped into the ocean. Have been of the grip for days already without handphone sweat.gif

If so then it will be a steal at a much cheaper price than what the stores are charging...and I'm not going to wait for Telco and use lte lol

Thanks for the reply Ajax.

My new Lumia 640 LTE just arrived yesterday thumbup.gif

I found some difference with old Lumia 620, glance not working properly!! Sometimes it show when you wave hand, sometimes don't and background info didn't show in glance mode too (I did setup everything, not my first time using it).

No real button for camera, need to launch from apps.

Phone quite light, more lighter than 620, not sure about battery, only my first day using it tongue.gif
