QUOTE(TOMEI-R @ Jan 20 2015, 01:45 PM) But... once the phone is fully charged, if you keep using the phone, the battery level never drops. If the charging has already stopped, the battery level should go down if you use the phone. Correct? |

The phone will continue to charge even it is full but the amount of power will be minimal therefore the level is always full when you plug into a phone with full charge. Please be remembered that the phone temperature is higher that normal when you plug to a fully charge phone, logically it will not harm your phone but when the charger "koyak" or the firmware not able to control the amount of heat/ power will kill your phone. That's why so many S3 SDS.... |

No lar...SDS on S3 due to bad emmc or motherboard itself. The motherboard cannot regulate charging current effectively. Please be remembered that the phone temperature is higher that normal when you plug to a fully charge phone, logically it will not harm your phone but when the charger "koyak" or the firmware not able to control the amount of heat/ power will kill your phone. My thought is, if you remove you plug almost immediate after 100% the risk of MOBO KO is almost 0%, still remember Samsung first move after so many SDS? Is update their FW. Still remember many complaint charger faulty? I changed twice... |

The motherboard problem still persists in Galaxy s4 devices? In terms of the build quality i find my mi3 to be more solid due to the unibody design.
Also, I recalibrated the battery yesterday, need a few more days to test out the battery. Maybe long time no charge fully make the battery life bad. |

For overnight charging, i'm using pineng pb and it will auto off when full. You can charge the pb from astro decoder or unifi router when you leave home. Battery still good condition after about 10 months.
