Guys what is your average SOT? The battery life is so bad in the newly bought phone..

Should I get a new battery? How much for the original one??
*
I heard certain batch for S4 battery have problem where you can ask 1 on 1 replacement at service centre. Just let them know that your battery juice dropped drastically even though the phone is quite new.

Not sure what we waiting for is while worth for... blink.gif

"The Android 5.0.1 Lollipop OS for the Galaxy S4 does not come as a surprise since the Google Play Edition of the handset already got the update. However, Samsung has the reputation of being one of the last Android OEM manufacturers to roll out OS updates.

Meanwhile, the 5.0.1 version of the Android Lollipop is currently under fire due to bugs and issues that continue to plague the operating system. Some users are still complaining that the devices updated to the aforementioned software are unable to connect to networks, therefore, disabling the Wi-Fi connection.

Moreover, the new Android update makes the battery of the device drain fast. Others are saying that they lost some data while updating their device over-the-air. Some users just gave up in installing the latest Android 5.0 Lolipop OS as they were unable to complete the installation due to a "missing system.img" error message."

Oh.. That's so little compared to my MI3. I usually get 5hrs at least.. This is actually a downgrade in terms of battery life.

RM130 I think pretty normal as it has this NFC chip at the back. Just wondering if they have the normal ones without the NFC or not ? Original ones i mean.

China S4 is GT-I9506 right..? For the China Unicom S4.

If your phone is GT-I9500 then you can give M'sian firmware a try.
But make sure you download and prepare your Chinas firmware in hand. Just in case got problem after flashing M'sian firmware then you can reflash back with the China firmware.

Flashing I9500 firmware on I9505/6 will surely brick the phone.
