which generation of city is this?
i'm pretty sure the 3rd and 4th gen models comes with abs. (had no experience with earlier models).
if your friend's city is 3rd/4th gen then consider sending it back to service centre for diagnostic.
i've driven at around 18xkm/h and brake without any problems

but i do have experience with abs activating, yet minor screeching sounds were heard.

ckd = complete knock down
cbu = complete build up

basically ckd = locally assembled, and cbu is imported.

the current 1 iguess..i dont know how to differentiate neway..

the 3rd gen and 4th gen looks quite similar, totally different with the old 1..

whats the difference between 3rd n 4th generation?ermm.btw,the car skidded then my friend turn the steering wheel to the right n it turn 360 degree 3 times..wtf..n causes damage to the right rim...n 1 thing i dun understand is the back bumper had some damaged n scratches too..it didnt hit anything but the scratches just appear like that

umm sifus i wanna ask something, my dad is interested to get a city and he would like trade in his current wira which is a 2002-2003 car watz the procedure, the loan for wira is still about 3-4 yrs somemore so the balance of the loan will be paid by honda/new buyer or my dad? and any offer for city ah nw?

It will all depend on how much your loan is left with the bank for the Wira and what is your trade in price for the City.
If the balance can off-set from the trade in price, you are in luck, IF not yo have to top-up to the bank.

Check with your City SA on , trade in price for the Wira and check with your bank whats the current full setlement figure
for the Wira.

On another note, last nite on our way back the Car "jerked" a few times few meters from our house, the lights on the speedo meter
all lite up, a first for me. We managed to park inside the house before the car completely died out.

Today I checked the mantenance free battery and found its still "green", anyone knows what happen? Car can start now, but dun dare drive

surely ur father the owner need settle the loan for the wira before he sell it ...

let say ur wira current value is RM30k, and u only pay the bank for 20k, means you only can get back rm20k and the rm10k will still need pay the bank ...

now when you buy new car adn trade in the old car with SA, worry nothing, the SA will settle every thing for u...

assume market value = 25k
loan balance = 12k

so that means i get 25k-12k = 13k back that i can use as d/p for a new car?

according to your text, that would be correct.

Possible cause of spin
sudden change of direction at high speed (sudden turn right @140km/h) + jam brake same time + car with stock suspension = spin

took the car out for spin after the jerking problem last nite, surprisngly all seems well now...

her her battery connector as not fixed properly as well as a metal plate was loose wtf rite (am waiting for her to
see what metal plate it was) anyways they fixed it FOC. Thank GOD all's ok...for now..making trip to Sumber Auto first thing 2molo

lol.. when i got my myvi 2years back, the first week itself it died suddenly in the middle of jln puchong.. mum was driving and ppl stopped and help push it aside.. and when me and my uncle arrived, checked the engine bay only to see the battery +ve connector not securely fastened.. human errors when it comes to quality checks eh?
