IF someone has XSATA, then perhaps can try to import saved game to see if that works.

Does anyone have it then? Seems quite expensive just to change some names.

Anyway, I've played a few games now and I think WEX is really good. Visually, it doesn't look as impressive as FIFA 07, but it's a step up from WE on the PS2. Player faces and appearances are much better than FIFA though. I always found that everyone in FIFA looked the same except one or two players, while I can usually tell who's who in WE.

The passing is so much more responsive as well. I really hated how you couldn't do quick one-twos in FIFA 07, that was the killer for me.

Oh and also, proper replays! Hooray! I can now see my 10 attempts on goal at fulltime and not one replay of someone bumping into someone else! What's really nice about the replays is how it shows you the build-up to the goal, which is something I haven't seen in a footy game before.

Only thing that annoys me is not being able to edit the team names. Oh well, I'll put up with it.

Well, had a few games online, a few lag-free games against me076310 (who's dribbling skills I can't handle at all) and a couple of ranked games which I won (and not too much lag either).

To invite a friend to a game, you go to Xbox Live, player select (second option), create match (third option). Then when you choose your settings, press start and you'll get a beeping connecting screen. Then you can go to your friend list and invite someone to a game. Took a while for me to figure out.

Which is why Microsoft sent a prototype controller to the Winning Eleven team. And the feedback given is that it needs a true digital pad. Right now, the d-pad is still analogue if im not wrong.

You beat me 3 out of 3. biggrin.gif I was still stuck in FIFA 07 style of play when I was playing you until right at near the end when I remembered how I used to play WE against my friends; slow patient build up.

Anyway, good games!

How can the d-pad be analogue? I'm sure it's digital, it's just very loose. It's too easy to press down-right when you just want to press right.

Curse Nintendo for patenting their d-pad design.

I hate the D-Pad on the 360. too easy to press the diagonals doh.gif even makes it hard to navigate the Dashboard sometimes.

anyway, how's the game's playability online?

It's pretty good. I've had a bit of lag here and there, but nothing game-destroying. And I played a couple of games with strangers that were lag free.

I dont think the d-pad is not digital jst that it was designed to function slightly analogous tongue.gif

I lost the article that talked about how Seabass gave feedback on the prototype controllers. Fixing the d-pad to make it truly digital was one of the feedback.

Okay, online is officially amazing. I just played 4 games against randoms and only one had the slightest bit of lag. (Won 3, lost 1)

This game singlehandedly justifies Xbox Live for me. I can play this game every night and not get bored. There's much less lag in this than FIFA did, probably because all the opposition are in Asia as opposed to the US? I'm sure it helps a lot.

got my copy, test it...feel it, basically it is just a port from ps2 to xbox360. And the graphics are even worst when compare to PES6 (PC ver). i will post up the screenie after work today so you guys can notice the different.

graphics wise, like terra's wife mentioned b4, "yeeeee, why like that 1". when first i boot up the game i can't believe this is a next gen game. well nvm, since WE is more concern bout gameplay.

gameplay, nothing special. if you played on PS2 version b4, you can skip this version unless you wanna try out the xbox live feature. .

live, no lag, tried it with local player (thomassux) and it is like playing LAN.

@Terra,
sorry didnt kick ball with you yesterday night, tonight we kick ball,k?
