Hello guys.
Need so advice on atf oils. Got an axia, 600km down i itchy hand went and change to top tech 1200 atf fluid + lube gard plat. Hoping to get a better gear change. However i feel like the gear change is pretty fast. It changes to 3-4-5 gear at low rpm.
Feels weird. Manual mention d3-sp and i freaknout and bought back the original d3-sp and got it changed. 
Question, is it wrong atf fuild used? Too slippery? Or lubegard plat makes the gear shift like that? Feels abit jumpy when im using the toptech 1200. Not sure its suppose to be like that.
Anyone could comment on this?
Im a big fan of lubegard, used it previously and had good experience. Not sure the jump feeling is the atf being incompatible or the lubegard does that.

Engine oil most expensive material is the viscosity modifier. It cost few times more than the base oil. However base oil makes up nearly 90% of the eo.
Most eo in Malaysia, including SHEL MALAYSIA using cheap viscosity modifier aka olefin copolymer (OCP) based, more premium german brands are using Poly Akly Methacrylate (PAMA) based viscosity modifier. Result? better fuel economy and shear stability. Experienced it myself. I tinker with the formulations on my work.

PAMA is 2-3 times more expensive than OCP based, which results in several fold more expensive compared to base oil. Base oil prices very much fluctuate according to the availability and the major player's control.

Those direct import from Germany. Liqui Moly, Voltronic, Mobil 1, etc. Others i'm not so sure.

Those who want buy shell helix ultra 5w40 SN Plus. Its RM99 promo at tesco ara damansara. Production is SEP19. Made in HK. About 20 over bottles left. Btw out of curiosity, went n check the same oil sold by petrol station and what i can see the only different is front sticker (utk pasaran msia) and the back sticker is exactly the same as the one sold in tesco.😅

My Vios went to dealer to change 5w30 oil which I think is mineral.
They told me to come back after 10000km. Full Synthetic only has 5w40.
Can mineral last that long? Thinking of changing after 5000km outside garage, then 10000km go back to dealer again.

Oil filter can last up to 10 000km right? Is there any can last up to 15 000km?

In shopee ive seen a few oil filters up to 15000km, but most fully only up to 10000km and some claimed up to 15000km

So thinking to try the one fully up to 15000km due to lots of travelling nowadays 🤔🔥

Even Conti owners I known (VW, Volvo) where their recommended oil change viscosity at 15k km, change it at 8k km unofficial and at 15k km at SC for official service
