Hi ...im staying there but none received any notice to move out nor will be moved .. because they are replacing new undground pipes for entire area for all the blocks...n also there's no meeting regarding this. On the other hand its own house.

I did check with him again.

he said got option to get a brand new unit (didn't ask if needed to top up) or get compensated and moved out.

Fyi.. i just got insider update... Those thinking that this 4story block will be demolished can continue dream on..
All this happened due to hasty land sell to skyworld by dbkl before election..... Lol...

I don’t think it is possible too. The land purchase is so complicated moreover it affects so many families

I was thinking along those lines, but more like allocating the Skyawani 1,2 and 3 rumahw1p units to the them. laugh.gif

Involve too many families and houses unless the developer is super rich. And it takes lengthy time to nego and come to compromise.

It remind me of Rampai Court which a developer also intend to buy over and redevelop.

I recall there is one member whose name is 'Rampai Court Resident' and he/she started a thread opposing its redevelopment a few months back. Last I recall is that their JMB/management is still at loggerheads with PV on the compensation part, tho.

If a luxury old condo like Desa Kudalari can't be redeveloped due to the minority of owners rejecting the offer, what more can you say of the number of flats/apartments scattered around the KL area?

Well was having a talk with community head in that area, joint management body already spending tons of money to upgrade many things in that area and still on going..(got multi different jmb company handling different blocks)....right now at my hs area the bomba pipe is being replaced across all blocks etc...so i can imagine if they spending in this rate logically speaking u think thy gona sell over..ontop of that many old owners are not there n not keen to sell lol...maybe ecoworld can keep foaming n give empty marketing promises do gimics ...to sell their current units..but doubt there will be any new projct aft this lol.... Well, the redevelopment of the flats isn't among them, the last I checked. Just SkyMeridien.

But I still see the construction going on as usual for the latter, plus SkyWorld themselves even went to visit YB Lim to clear the air on their land purchases. As far as I can tell, he didn't issue a response denying it (not on his fb or the media). And I wouldn't be surprised if most of their projects are among the 48/64 land plots cleared by MACC.

Just that YB Lim is waiting for MACC's clearance to reveal which project and its developer/owner when he revealed this 2 months ago. Since then, no squeak from him. hmm.gif

Looks like opposite side of meridian..its officially low-cost flat is coming up... They open up the land to build already... That units is for those earlier quarters taken by ytl for sentul pasar residents.... Huhu...not sure wt and how chaotic going to be later....ermmmm .. fingers crossed. Sighhhhhhhhhhhhh ...not sure How later jam gona be... already freaking congested in early morning...good luck with 700k buyers lol.

If the flat area does not redevelop, it could be good for those 1 & 2 bedded units, their KLCC view will not be blocked (just make sure your head straight and don't look down, lol)...so i see both pros and cons in either redevelop or not...

Just don't take the redevelopment of flat area into account when making decision, treat it as standalone project and do your calculation..
