I seriously do not agree splitting the league into two groups for a few reasons.
1) Fine, then we have 2 champions, 2 runner up, 2 etc...what's the point in this? Are we going to label them as "champion of the fast drivers" and "champion of the slow drivers"?
2) When linkin comes in, or any new member join...which group are you going to put them in?
3) If you divide the league, the numbers are a lot more confusing. We might have only 2-3 people racing in one of the rooms just because the other is full.

If you guys divide the league, I don't think I wanna join ady...

so suggest for odd and even position to divide into 2 grp?
i wont mind if divide by odd and even when practice and quali...

I'm not agree. Reason,
1. With current format, we are assume everyone can join practice and qualification session, and they know which group they need to join during practice and qualification session. This format also easy to manage, as they only need to remember which group they need to join during practice and qualification session.. If we apply the format that you mentioned above, how about the others 5 racers who didn't join the race session? They sure worry which group they need to join for next GP practice and qualification session.
2. IMHO, gap between fast racer and slow racer getting wider, as slow racer can't learn anything from fast racer.

IMHO, everything remain same.
During practice and qualification session, everyone join they own group. We'll only divide the group after collect everyone qualification result.

Bout odd/even grouping, during design the practice_qual_race guideline, i thought of this format too, but at the end, i choose format which we are using now cause of few reason.
1. Not everyone at here online everyday to check the thread.
2. Every GP practice and qualification session, racers know which group they need to join. They won't confuse and go to join others group and get penalized.
3. We won't see many posting is asking such question, "which group i need to join for next GP?".
4. Easy to manage. League admin only need to announce race session group list.

i disagree too...as this might be too confusing..keeping the way it is right now is fine..btw, wanna ask tmr qua how will it be ar?i mean the sequence..i might have missed what i read..hehe..

5.For qualifying, racer from last position during practice session will start the qualifying lap; follow by second last and so on.
7.The next racer queued in line is allowed to go out on track after the person on the track has started his qualifying lap. (Does not imply to the first driver out)
