Here's a tip for a fast connection.
From my tiny experience la tongue.gif

I use Streamyx 512 package.
Always downloading 100MB from rapishare.
If the download starts with 100KB and then decreases till approx. 40KB.
Once reached 40KB...it will increase and maintain between 40 - 50KB approx.
Then confirmed I've found a fast server.

If not, I'll just ON and OFF my modem till I get that speed.
Also, can use the download section in 1st post...the extra tracks.
If > 40KBps...then ok.

maybe try downloading the Mugello, Buenos Aires files on page 1.
Just to check the connection.

rapidshare even better.

http://rapidshare.de/files/13253114/Title_01_01.part13.rar

Just a test.

Too bad we cannot use the exact time like Classification in F1.
Instead, we only used average speed.
May I know what average speed stands for?
I mean how does it works?
I saw me -1 lap from gkl...but afte the race...2 laps?

My pit stop tongue.gif

Too much radiators...maybe that's why I'm slow.

F1C needs improvement lah..I mean from EA Sport side.

Better if we can see each drivers sector time during quali.
Inside or outside.

Classification like F1...exact time.
If like that...easier for our stewards.

I used 4 radiators...should be 3.
Since 97C at lap 19.

Share la sikit guys...what did you guys tweak the setup for race?
With heavy fuel and all.
If you guys want to share la tongue.gif

edwin quotes "Well, first of all, i think is quite special to me as i still have chance to get into podium finish. Today race for me it was tough, we need to get our car into highest speed and balance but honestly, we are just able to keep up the distance with ferrari, but our strategy was good 2 stop, which i had 1 lap later stop than adrian so i manage to pull 3-4 sec from him, great work from my team.

But unfortunetely, i had a contact lapping evo on the 2nd last lap, so, need to get back to pits and lost 25sec over there, is a race, so we cant blame anyone, maybe some bad luck for me today as i'm 3sec leading ahead adrian before the contact on evo.

yeah, like wat adrian mention, is been a really great weekend here as we compete our home race, having superb challenging race from him, from the start till the end. Well, we still have more race to go, so the championship is still wide open, hope we can get the others racer in the points to play too.."

"sorry, m i talking too much here....?  blush.gif "

lapping Evo?
Any blue flag?
Which corner did you overlap him?
Certain corners dangerous to overtake.

sweat.gif
who's behind you?
if no one behind you then should have lap Evo at the two slip stream.
Thank god Prinze never had any problem overlapping me.
At the last slip stream before last corner I saw the blue flag and I saw him on my left side mirror.
So, I slow down and let him past.

send me the vcr? tongue.gif

*
what caused it?
maybe we need to clean our ears everyday...maybe during bathing..water always
got it's way in the ears.
Need to use soft cloth to clean it.

I always wear headphones in order not to disturb anyone with screaming F1 engines. I think wearing headphones did it, they get full of germs and bacteria, I shower at least 5 times a day and I probably made it worse by wearing headphones with water still in my ears. It's been going on for months but not as bad as now.

Just came back from hospital with shopping bag full of medication. Doc says he can't see my inner hear since it's so swelled up, I ll have to go in again next week.
*
god... shakehead.gif swelled?
That's serious man.

Should have clean and dried the ears before wearing the phones.

I have a friend few years back...he had phuts (dunno whether I spell it right,
it's the yellow stuff normally found in pimples)
Imagine...so itchy shakehead.gif and he can't sratch it.

I did try using headphone while playing rFactor & Teamspeak.
Could not bare the engine sound...so loud.

I hated being sick..can't do a thing when sick smile.gif

i c his handling using wheel so good...i still curious y ppl say using keyboard is faster than wheel...haha

IMHO, the brakes.
Always the brakes.
If we're talking about qualifying...less fuel...easier to corner.
With heavy fuel...differ story...then that's when setup comes in like Evo said.
Of course qualifying also needs setup.

Back to the keyboard faster than wheel.
Ive used wheel and buttons as brakes.
Buttons gives faster braking.
I think 0.1 second.
As for pedals...more..0.5 I think or maybe a full second.

At Sepang, you guys did 1:30...average...me...1:35 tongue.gif
No wonder 2 laps down last night tongue.gif

Evo, how do you slow down with manual trans?
Lets say on 7th gear....cars slide when braking hard.

QUOTE(evoHahn @ Sep 9 2006, 05:04 PM)
For me , lets say taking the 1st corner at sepang:

1. Touch the brake lightly
2. Shift from 7 to 3 while pressing a bit more on brake
3. release brake and turn
4. shift to 1 and gently apply throttle.

If i'm brave enough, i'll shift to 2 immediately tongue.gif tongue.gif But if your back end steps out, adjust your rear suspensions setting
*
Tough...driving a McLaren...the LCD was blocked by the wheel inside the cockpit tongue.gif
So difficult to know on what gear I am tongue.gif

A lot of setup shakehead.gif

Reaching a corner in 4th gear is quite ok..easily downshift without braking.

If we can owned rFactor...surely we can adapt it in F1C.
I think I'll try manual trans now.
Since F1C all aids ON...but will try with all aids OFF too though.

You have to find the balance between the braking and downshifting. Once you've found it you'll find that it helps a lot with braking, that little extra can even replace braking completely in some spots. I can go from 7th and rapidly downshift to 3rd without spinning sometimes 2nd.
*
Penz, since you're flying when racing Malaysian server...share a bit of your tips? tongue.gif

Let say Montreal, Canada.
Reaching the 1st chicane after the last corner.
Flat out in 7th gear right?
How do you slow down.
Step by step.
Do you brake hard as well as stay full on the gas?
When do you downshift...while going through the corner?

Me, when braking hard...car slides... doh.gif shakehead.gif
Noob here tongue.gif
