GTR2 without aids would be impossible.
At 1st gear you need to slowly push the throttle.
since you're using buttons...how to do it slowly?
Pedals easier.

Redline is a PRO racer.
While others were still noobs.

gkl, have you tried the 360 in GTR2?
Try it and let us know.

I would never gave up my wheel.
Will get G25 one day.
All aids OFF...manual clutch.
Feels like a real racer.

I never tried keyboard.
At 1st I use a gamepad (clone gamepad but same shape and function a a PS2 controller) to play F1C since I've played Gran Turismo 4 on PS2.
So easy using the analog for cornering.

In F1C, seems so difficult to line up the car in a straight line...unstable.
Also in a hairpin.
Then, other race enthusiast says "...don't stress yourself, get a wheel..."

Try Hockenheim la or any other tracks that we're familiar with the fastesrt lap.
I think fast times were 1:08-1:10.

Nurburgring i don't recall.

I wonder if we could use 2 cars for each team in next season.
I mean only two(2) Ferraris, two(2) McLarens etc.
A bit difficult since all want to win and won't give up their cars

What if the person who won the championship get to keep his car..let say a
Ferrari.
2nd place...if a Ferrari too...then he keep it.
Ferrari cars stopped there.
Both of them will be team mates.

Then we'll see 3rd place.
If it's still a Ferrari, then he needs to choose another car.
He has the priority to chose compare to the 4th place and so on.

In the end, only two(2) cars per team.


This just a suggestion, and don't get jumpy or 'kelam-kabut' and Alonso like

I also like to suggest this:

1. All drivers will become STEWARD.

2. If Driver-1 blaiming Driver-2 hitting his car, the other drivers will investigate by watching the replay. If one say no and one say yes, the highest count win.

3. All drivers will start with 170 points (depends on how many circuits per season)

4. Driver must do the protest prior the investigation.

5. If Driver 2 found to be guilty, his reputation point will be deducted, if Driver-1 can continue the race, deduct 10 points for Driver-2, if can continue but with damages & forced to pit, deduct 20 points, if DNF, deduct 30 points.

6. Drivers with clean race will be added 5 points each race.

7. The reputation points will be carry forward to the next round.

8. The final result will be base on the championship points multiply by the reputation points. Example, after 11 rounds finish, Driver-1 championship points = 100 & reputation points = 75, final points = 100 x 0.75 = 75 absolute points, Driver-2 championship points = 90 & reputation points = 90, final points = 90 x 0.9 = 81 absolute points, SO DRIVER-2 IS THE CHAMPION !!!!!

We want a clean racer, fast but giving a lot of trouble to others...asyik langgar sana-sini......what for? With this reputation points, we will be clean & fast racer...........BRAKE EARLY IS OUR FRIEND....

I think all of us won't mind if all teams has same speed and characteristics.
All wants fast cars to smoke others.

F1 in rFactor is differ...all cars are the same.
All about your skills on the gas & brakes.

*Don't get emotional when I brought up rfactor, just making a point.
