QUOTE(evoHahn @ Sep 5 2006, 06:56 PM) Prinze: yes Yup...we must remember the corners and know which gear to use.Raikkonen : I'm using auto tranny at the moment. but since i'm playing rF now, have to use manual tranny. I have no probs using manual tranny, just i have to remember which corner use which gear... ohh about the race, i had to pit thats why i lost my lead. It's the hands...how fast to brake and downshift at the same time Practice...practice...hated that Also, listen to the engines...how the the gear changes. That turn 11 at Sepang is very tricky...no range sign. Needs to listen to the engine sounds before braking. maybe you should pit with Pit Assistance OFF. Use RPM limiter before entering the pit lane. Might go faster. QUOTE(ccy1989 @ Sep 5 2006, 06:56 PM) Hey guys , i manage to practice just now with a 1:48:2xx secs at Malaysia Sepang F1 with manual transimmison. Quite good with manual but still slow.Need more practice. I haven't started yet to practice manual trans |

QUOTE(ccy1989 @ Sep 5 2006, 08:11 PM) Lol...i am still a noob in using manual transmission to chase the time because is it really hard to memorize each corver what gear you have to switch with it else you will end up spinning out of the circuit . Even though is hard to drive with manual , but i really enjoy the race using manual more than auto shifting because i feel that i really driving as a F1 driver . welcome another wheel user 4 challengers now But you already go the hang of manual trans. Me...haven't started yet QUOTE(PRINZE @ Sep 5 2006, 09:08 PM) manual trans with keyboard? |

QUOTE(evoHahn @ Sep 5 2006, 08:09 PM) actually you are wrong, i only had 5 laps of fuel, he had 9 (i think) and at the time i pitted, he was only 2 seconds behind. in my first pit stop, i put on 9 laps of fuel. so go figure it yourself. What's the Aussie full tank of fuel?I think the less amount of fuel you put in the car...the less time. I timed Ed's pit stop...still 14 seconds in and out the pit. I don't think it made any difference whether PLA ON or OFF. Evo, why did you put only 5 laps of fuel? Better put full tank since you are on the front row. If you are at the back row then ok la tu put less fuel so that you can overtake the front runners since they're on heavy fuelled. |

QUOTE(gkl83 @ Sep 6 2006, 12:38 AM) u rolling in below 99km/h right? must on pit limiter when in the pit lane? tail gating is a nightmare..trust me.hope tat i wont have same group whne race but i saw adrian and edwin overlapped few times when race... You need to avoid hitting them and at the same time you lose all the advantage after getting close to them. tail gating with a keyboard? Lagi susah. With a wheel...a bit better. Easier to turn anywhere in order to avoid hitting them. This post has been edited by Raikkonen: Sep 6 2006, 12:42 AM |

QUOTE(gkl83 @ Sep 6 2006, 12:45 AM) is not bcos hard to turn... you should give a wheel a try.is prinze at the inner line when cornering... in additional i dont know the distance when side by side with him, sure i have to run wider to avoid bang... u download the vcr sure u will know how he "blocked" my race line... but nice race at least he have his own strategy if Prinze covering the inside line...you can take a wider approach like the outside line. and then hit the gas quickly. how ya you config your keyboard? I mean what button is brakes, gas, turn etc.? if using a wheel...legs doing it stuff...hand fully on turning. No mess. save some money...buy a wheel Hey...since you're going to China, maybe a wheel is a bit less expensive there. |

QUOTE(PRINZE @ Sep 6 2006, 02:06 AM) im not god la.. manual gear shift is not hard as u all think... u have to get use to it.. but disadvantages using keyboard is we cant control the throttle in cornering, this will slow us down... Last time I bought was RM299.i was rolling in at 10-20km/h.. haha.. luckily can reached to pit crew.. because of 10km/h into pit, forgot turn on pit limiter, when rejoin pitlane, speed exceed 99km/h.. hahah.. yeah.. you attacking, i defensing.. somemore i have to watch infront for Edwin and look behind for you.. so stress... yeah we knew wheel is better, but RM399... killing man.. haha... if RM199 i already bought it.. Thank god I bought it early QUOTE(Penzman @ Sep 6 2006, 02:31 AM) Look a little closer than China man, Thaiiiilaaaand watch out for Penz.Careful, I'm coming back this week driving with NO AIDS, auto-clutch only Don't accuse him of cheating if he's faster than anybody else. QUOTE(young_soul @ Sep 6 2006, 02:55 PM) did not use it now already start using it. I've watched the Sepang race. Saw Adrian spunned at turn 2. He hitted Edwin twice...one at the rear and another at the left side. Then gkl went rammin Adrian from behind. Did you see the Yellow flag gkl? Each time we saw a yellow flag we MUST slow down...look forward for any accidents etc. After that I think Adrian's car damaged already. |

QUOTE(gkl83 @ Sep 6 2006, 03:31 PM) didnt have the yellow flag bcos edwin not really spun at there... he saved by adrian by bang his front part bcos is adrian bang his tail lost control, but he not spun out from track so dont have flag... then both of them with slow speed and didnt notice adrian car slow as well after he bang him... plus the distance too short, cant notice his car is slow down after cornering... and i expected after cornering we will accelerate but............... I guess unlucky for all huh?Accidents like that is forgiven but if Adrian hitted Edwin...then it's Adrian's fault. QUOTE(woe.com @ Sep 6 2006, 03:35 PM) How was it? Nice to watch than other race? Nice fight between you and Adrian.raikkonen, m i going too slow? should i overtake more aggressively? But after i too aggressive take over adrian, we had some contact on turn 2, 3 drivers involve.. Adrian made a lot of mistakes..that's why sometimes you were able to overtake him. Tailing a car is very very Hated it...in Aussie so hard..tailing Penz. If Sepang, with two slip stream...gonna be fun. Slower car will weep I saw you tailing Adrian non stop and quite close to Adrian from turn 10 till Start/Finish line. I knew you were gonna overtake him before the 1st corner. You did...but went wide at turn 2 I guess Adrian was too nervous when you were tailing him. Nice pressure though. You can be aggressive if you wanted to...but smoothly. Or just keep pressing and wait for the driver in front to make a mistake. But aggresive at turn 2? Wrong place Turn 2 were too tight. Cars behind cannot see if anything happens. Surely pile up if more than 10 cars lined up like a train. Dangerous driving by Adrian at turn 1 during Start. But it's the drivers behind that needs to take evasive action not to hit him. Never the less, Adrian should look at the side mirror Edwin, you overlapped me in Aussie right? I did not see any blue flag but I saw a McLaren on my left side mirror. So I slow down and let it past. This post has been edited by Raikkonen: Sep 6 2006, 04:06 PM |

QUOTE(young_soul @ Sep 6 2006, 04:09 PM) I think stop is only for serious cases izzit? Like an accident on the middle of the track...and carbon fiber parts laying all round the track. That kind of situation is where you need to stop...red flag potential situations QUOTE(gkl83 @ Sep 6 2006, 04:10 PM) yup, its depend... if the car spunned on the race line when cornering... i think will hard to do sharp turn tat time... stop will be make sense bit... I mean stop to avoid hitting others.Avoid them the best as you can. |

QUOTE(adrian0229 @ Sep 6 2006, 04:49 PM) u mistaken already le Agree.cannot overtake when yellow flag is refers to gkl n prinze...lik example....gkl c yellow flag bcoz i crash wif edwin...so gkl slow down but then prinze cannot take this advantage to overtake gkl while gkl slow down in f1c game,it is pretty hard to apply all the f1 rules in the game...some can be applied n some is quite difficult or cannot b applied on it.... Exactly like the situation you mentioned above. |

QUOTE(gkl83 @ Sep 6 2006, 05:05 PM) this rules should except the previous aus race's 1st corner... that's good news but lets say the aus race... edison accident and kei spun at the middle road and yellow flag show at the screen... but how know we overtaking other racers? but at last kenny drop till last position even he start from pole positon... kinda happy to see other drivers had some kind of problems. don't get me wrong, sometimes we just need some luck and advantages. Attention all.
I have an idea about our two (2) group racing. Let's divide each group according to each race result. Below is the result of last Friday's Aussie GP. 1.kenny time:34:00.582 speed:212.94 2.edwin time:34:17.362 speed:211.2 3.gkl83 time:34:28.785 speed:210.04 4.evohahn time:35:04.479 speed:206.47 5. staggy time:1lap speed:201.36 6.kei time:1lap speed:199.30 7.specter time:1lap speed:196.76 8.raikkonen time:1lap speed:195.48 9.penzman time:1lap speed:195.31 10.menmissed (fuel) 11.adrian (accident) 12.edison (accident) So, for Malaysia GP...split into two (2) groups. Driver 1 - Driver 6 - Group 1 No. 2 - No. 12 - Group 2 After Malaysian GP race, same format. Kinda like current F1 qualifying format. Now, fast GP winners gonna have his hands full against other fast GP winners. Unless they're afraid and only can hustle slow drivers? What say you guys? Or maybe you guys have a solution on this already? |
