Does this look like user problem or material problem?
P/S: Ignore the white marks around the edge of the stalk as it was probably caused by me trying to put the thing back into place as I thought it was a clipped on stalk or something.
Proton Suprima S V2, V2 already!

QUOTE(TDUEnthusiast @ Sep 13 2016, 08:04 AM) Not sure how this thing broke. Hardly touched it, and I certainly don't abuse the plastic bits in my car. This one is covered under warranty. I use mine all the time while on highway, hopefully it remains intact. Also, if anyone is interested the official size for our wipers should be 16"/24". I'm currently using piaa super sporza 24 and radix 16. Both same silicone but somehow super sporza is around 100 more. [attachmentid=7517493] [attachmentid=7517450] Edit: Was exiting from a car park in kota damansara yesterday and everything was fine until I hear something falling out. QUOTE(TDUEnthusiast @ Sep 13 2016, 08:43 AM) True, but in the long run the PIAA may save you a lot more, in addition to having really good wiping performance due to the special silicone rubber mix + coating. It seems that many people have had good experience with PIAA wipers especially in terms of longevity. The silicone rubber refill is only around RM35 ~ RM40 per blade, so the initial cost is high but after that it should be cheap to maintain. I am still on ori wiper. Rear wiper hardened but after few use is servicable though not fully, front wipers still ok. I think will change both later. My last PIAA wipers (Aero vogue) on my Persona lasted over 3 years and is/was still going. Gave it along with the car, so I don't know if it's still with it or got songlapped by the dealer. I expect this set to last a few years w/o requiring any blade replacements as well. |

Hi guys, just to share,
Brought one used suprima s year 2014, claimed 4 new tyres from proton after driving it for 2 months, the new tyres quality were lousy, after using it for 2 months, found crack line, tread pealed off on all tyres, took photos and email to careline, within a week, an officer call me to ask which sc I prefer to send my car to changing a new set of tyre. Follow by 2 sms to infom me the date and time of the appointment. So fast and efficient, well done Proton! Btw proton is giving continental tyre this time, model is contisportcontact 3. It's nice to know that they're willing to replace the tyres again. Guys,
i've read that some of you who bought a used suprima can claim the warranty (example like replacing the OCH / Tires). may i know how do you guys managed to do that cause I'm expecting my car (2013 used 'showroom' suprima with 4200km mileage) somewhere next week and already contacted proton careline regarding the warranty. They mentioned that the warranty only valid to the first owner of the car (which in my case is Proton themself). many thanks! |

QUOTE(farrid.husin @ Sep 15 2016, 12:16 AM) Guys, I think it should be transferable. If not, the OCH and tyres should still be claimable as both are acknowledged by protong to be problematic, unless the tyres are already Continentals.i've read that some of you who bought a used suprima can claim the warranty (example like replacing the OCH / Tires). may i know how do you guys managed to do that cause I'm expecting my car (2013 used 'showroom' suprima with 4200km mileage) somewhere next week and already contacted proton careline regarding the warranty. For those who put their cars into ON mode before starting, does the headlight pop on momentarily before going off? I used to start the car in accessory mode, but this causes the hazard lights to come on occasionally, even after protong has done error clearing and "engine tune-up". I started going into ON mode since then and hadn't seen the hazard lights come on since. I wonder if the headlights coming on momentarily have something to do with triggering the hazard lights.

Lol. Might be the start of all the disappointment for me for protong after sales. First is they say that there's no booking for my car at CoE on this Saturday, secondly the girl who called me insisted that my car is not in the recall list for the tyres even though my first service receipt states it clearly.

The best way to get Proton service to reply is actually by email, not by calling the call centre.
By emailing them your problem telling them the woes, someone from the SC will call you back and you will get your stuff repaired/replaced. Email works because there is a date and it is written. If you call them, they ask to call SC, if you call SC, they say still order. If you can get the report no./case no. from the SC then they will reply to you. |
