So their rudeness is leading to push and sell a 50mm F1.4 for RM 500-600?  That's cheaper than 2nd hand.  Use their rudeness and stupidity against them.  For a good condition Canon 50mm F1.4 for RM 500 is a crazy bargain.  I'd buy it even if I didn't want it.  Can resell straight to another shop for profit. 

Next time I go there and shake the 5d mark 3.  And hope they say "wah cannot sell anymore you must buy for RM 3000!"

7D2 is attractive as it's a full frame. But have to sale off current lens. And my SD card all canot use oledi.

I'm thinking of upgrade but just not sure how far should I go. The price differences is not so huge also. Got to think about it carefully.

My lens having problem, it only will work when in aperture 2.8...any other than that it'll give lens communication error.

anyone here using canon 16-35mm F4 IS lens? Still wondering is it worth to get this lens if compare to canon 17-40mm F4.

With the amount pay for 3k+, i can get a 2nd hand 17-40mm F4 & a samyang 14mm f2.8

I've just ordered 16-35mm F4L IS and will post some info by next week (after my trip) on my findings of this lens. This lens should be good enough for interior and architectural purposes however it is arguably that 17mm & 24mm TS-E would do better on interior/architecture due to tilt & shift ability. Sharpness corner to corner wide open against 17-40mm is much better but according to the internet, from f/8 onward not much difference but again internet argues that micro contrast is much better on the former lens. If budget allows I will definitely go for new lens with the proof of recent new lenses released by Canon is superior and has no match from other competitors. I never had 17-40mm but have used 16-35mm 2.8 II it is very good but corner sharpness will only pick up from f/8 again.

If you need f/2.8 then there is only 1 choice otherwise the new F4 version is a no brainer.

Any lens will do for group portrait.

I have Samyang 14mm 2.8 this lens is super wide, good for landscape and astro photography which I really enjoy using it. Corner is shite though...

i google EOS 1100D battery. Then they both are using the same model..so i guess they are compatible.. some more 1200D is replace 1100D one.. so i guess yeah...

i have a new 70-200 f2.8 mark 2 IS USM, just wondering is it ok to change lens without turning the camera off first? I have a habit of changing lens on the fly without turning off the camera. Someone told me it would spoil the USM and IS on the lens by do so

Walking through camera shops in Hong Kong and saw a new Yongnuo 600EX RT.  It looks identical to the Canon 600EX RT except 1/3 the price. 

I really wonder how it performs in comparison with Canon.

I'm searching (and will buy for sure) Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 EX DG HSM II Macro Lens. Is it still available? as I found on the net that it was replaced by Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 EX DG OS HSM. well yong nuo isn't that bad. it might lose to the canon in terms of ttl accuracy but everything else should work as perfectly as the canon is.

While browsing through the sales thread at LYN, I noticed that many are selling Canon products (even Nikon) with unregistered or unfilled warranty card. Does it even work - say I buy the used item, register them at Canon website and get a brand new item's warranty terms?
