QUOTE(goldfries @ Oct 29 2014, 10:02 AM) it was never a need la. Most ppl started with digital crop and upon found the limitation and limitation of dynamic range, dof etc...FF will come into the picture.i used APS-C for professional purpose for a good 5 years at least and have outdone many others who only know how to claim it's a NEED but not able to produce. the problem with many forum users here is they only THINK FULL FRAME. The early digital days were WITHOUT full frame. Full frame only came a bit later but was never a need. Many professionals go APS-C for good reasons and they still do. Many good cameras and photographers out there are using APS-C. Extremely skilled professional like Ming Thein uses Olympus OM-D EM1 for his assignments, and that's M43 mind you. Some probably don't realize that a Foveon APS-C sensor still could be the crap out of Bayer Full Frame sensor. oh and the most laughable part about this "Full Frame" argument is that people think FULL FRAME is where it ends. Sorry people, there's Medium and Large format. anyway I'll leave this video for you guys ........ Yes Medium/Large format is the next level.... |

QUOTE(th8 @ Nov 21 2014, 03:08 PM) Hi Sifus, Is this information sharing ot you asking for advice ?I'm currently using Nissin II Di 622 flash and lately the unit only managed to switch ON after 7-8 times of trying. There is some "cranking" sound and the unit goes dead. This happens even with newly charged Eneloop battery. Maybe the flash near EOL already.... Cheers! TH. |

QUOTE(knight @ Dec 3 2014, 11:15 AM) Guys, All come to budget and your 'wants' . If you do alot sports photography, probably 7D2 is good for you...else i don't see why 70D isn't a good body.Currently I'm using canon 450D, Tamron 2.8 17-50mm with a normal lowgrade Nissin flash. You see my 450D started to give me problem and I considering have it upgrade. Do you any suggestion? the price of the 70D looks very attractive to me. But some people just tell me to get a 7D Mk II. What do you think?? Please advise. |

Something to share about Canon Shop in Midvalley as well.
A friend of mine went there last week to test out 50mm F1.4. The lens was original in the DISPLAY showcase (all the lenses there meant for DISPLAY) - he asked to take out as he wanted to test Upon the staff handover the lens to him (before mount to those DEMO bodies), he just did a LIGHT shaking the lens to see the construction (to see any loose part or poor build or not), press the AF button to MF and play around with the focus ring.... Guess what, immediately the staff day told my friend..".hello SIR, by doing this we can NO LONGER sell off this lens since your shaking will cause AF mis-allignment My friend was like WTF... Sigh.... |
