after understanding a bit of photography world,

seems like Canon and Nikon are very slow about the product dev.

Look at Sony, they dont care about USP of the product.
A7ii and A7Sii A7Rii all receive 3 axis IS, good dynamic range, and high MP.

Where else in Canon, a slight different in USP like FPS and Focus points.
Price different by alot, look at 6D and 5Dmkiii

basket lichnuss. Very oreserm walkabout lens especially when  you are lazy to switch lens.

When nonac gonna make IS version la. vmad.gif

70mm doesn't need IS la. Technologies come with a cost...just like 35mm F2 IS..cost Rm2K++...

Good to have, if nikon can make it, I don't see why nonac can't make it. Anyway luckily nonac compensated with 11-24L.

Looking forward for an improved version of 24-70.

Btw 35mm f2 is crappy, no idea why they even invested IS on it. tsk tsk.
If you already fork out like close to 8k for 24-70L, i think extra 1k for IS is justifiable la. biggrin.gif
*
thats a very narrow minded mind...if nikon can do it why not you change to nikon system ? 24-70 just got improved to II and F4 version won't be any new improve version in next 3 to 5 years...

35 F2 is crap ? till u try then only comment...all lens have its pros and cons. don't judge so optimistically la

Yes, 50mm and 85mm feesl very close. One of the reason why I went for 100mm too.
*
If you into prime and IQ...24,35,50,85,100,135 and 200 would be the complete family biggrin.gif

Not neccessary all must be F1.2 or F1.4 lenses....e.g 135 F2 is darn hell of the great lens brows.gif

depends on situation actually, sometimes the subject like a moving bug, how to shoot manual?
*
depend on skill, thats why some of the shooter custom their speedlite to 'stop' the subject aside from filling light.

U wont' shoot a flying butterfly and call it Macro right tongue.gif

canon got 60mm macro meh? i used the canon EF 50mm F2.5 macro before though..
*
The one and only Canon EFS Macro lens.

Oldest is 50mm.

The long the focal length, the better the DOF.

http://www.the-digital-picture.com/Canon-L...Macro-Lens.aspx

100mm is a good start.

I'm recently noticed something about my camera. My pictures and videos are no longer as sharp wide open as they were before. See here:

[attachmentid=6036395]

What should I do? I know for a fact it's not a lens issue as this happens across all my lenses old and new.
*
can you post your exif ? What lens and body are u using as well ?

That no as well. The 60D doesn't support the AF microadjustments. Is there a way to do it?
*
send your lens back for calibration. else try on different body to confirm its lens issue.
