Ooh should be. Looks like the price before the hike. Now it's around RM3700.

Canon 70D and even 6D is not fully weather sealed though. And even if you get 70D your lens choices aren't weather sealed too, so you might need to rethink on weather sealing.
This weather-seal thing is often blown out of proportion.

my EOS 60D go rain go shine go dust go paintball also still alive and kicking.

I think it depends on luck as well, read someone got his 6D buttons unresponsive after getting a bit wet, but after restarting a while it starts working again.

Your 60D survived a rain pour naked?

My 350D get orange juice poured on it some more la.

Camera's aren't that sensitive you know. I'll be surprised if an RM 5k body can just malfunction after getting a bit of water on it.

I cleaned my 350D by running water across it.

If you're shooting under extreme conditions then 7D / 1D series for max protection, like say dirt bike race or full time under the rain in sports events.

If not then all the other models can handle mild rain and even water splash.

Hi sifus. Recently found some one selling EOS650D. Shutter count is 2714. She is selling it for RM900. Is that good price or should just top up and buy any other new models.

I think OK based on other's prices and low shutter count. Do a bit more survey if you want.

Oh I don't mind minor drizzle and a little wet, but I definitely wouldn't risk going naked in a heavy or even moderate downpour. I'm too chicken to do that haha.

Sirui T-025X. I got it from Lazada for around 499 with coupon code. If you want better hurry as the last I saw only 1 unit left for that price. Retail price going for average RM900.

hey guys, quick question regarding 550d. Is it still not working (ie recording 1080p) with sandisk sdhc or is it resolve with faster card, say class 10 extreme 60mb/s?

thanks in advance.

550D can record 1080p no problem. If it halts, it's a storage issue, not the camera.

A basic Class 10 will do as video recording does not reach that fast a write speed.
