Connect to PC & download using Xiaomi software, even when i update my Mi3 to KK 4.4.2 OTA stated 4.3 is latest, but when i plug to PC Xiaomi software shows KK4.4.2 update, so far zero problemo. thumbup.gif

If indeed due to modem/baseband it should effect others telco as well, Umobile seem work very well at lease for me.

Used to have this issue till i found out it was actually due to tge vibration while playing voicemail, i off the vibration on the beat & problem solved since.

Nope

After ugrade to kitkat 4.4.2, i don't find any problem but many improvements

1.) Camera getting better in low light & no more auto focus problem.
2.) Battery perform even better than already good during JB.
3.) Never experienced drop call, Data connecting also very stable.
4.) The phone doesn't heat up like it used to be after prolonged usage.
5.) Phone call volume is louder.

In fact 4 days after upgrades i find zero defects & all goodies. thumbup.gif

Alternate method is long press empty spot on screen, then tap wallpaper, scroll to browse - open gallery - then choose to set as wallpaper/home screen/or both.

Plug to PC, see it allowed you to update to KK 4.4.2 using reversed tethering.

So one mentioned Xiaomi revoked the KK 4.4.2 update after complaints from Maxis line user.

I think this is unfair since " other telco " user who have no stewpit maxshit problem may want to update their firmware.

If Maxis had problem just disallowed Maxis user why blanket removed tye update.

How come Philippines version had Bahasa Melayu instead of Tagalog ??

It a Malaysia version lah, my phone is Malaysia version bought from Xioami website, 1st batch bought on 20th May, that time Philippines still hasn't got Xiaomi, i just update like normal & not flash rom.

Had you try disabled Vibration with the beat function in sound setting & disabled notification vibration in whatsapp setting ??
