When I read it at afternoon it was a 518MB update so I wait until I can find a goof WiFi connection, later I noticed it was 11.4MB so I update using data plan, so far so good solved many previous bugs.

1.) SMS not from contact list shown incomplete number.
2.) Weather apps not update to current location bugs.
3.) Missed call LED notification bugs.

So far so good, hopefully they solve the USB Tethering share internet with PC bugs as well, but can only try in company computer tomorrow.

Prior to the update I go into setting - apps - updater (clear the cache) not sure this help.

If it is a Android version update eg 4.3 to 4.4.2 then yes, some Android apps will come back eg Google+, Play Music, Play Movie, Play Newsstand, Drive, Hangout, but can be deleted if you don't need them.

My Samsung Mega also same scenario when i get a update few months back, all those apps been installed despite i don't need it & the problem is it can't be delete, i can only disabled it.

Go to maps - setting - Google location setting - allow access to my location.

I think only V18 re install those apps, V22 & V23 didnt see those apps after i delete it.

Our old ciggy king TS very hardworking already can't tahan ro start V13...hehe

If I am not mistaken, I think he meant sms from number not inside phone contact +60 went missing & need to add +60 to reply, V23 firmware update solved the issue, I tried it yesterday, number shown as +601xxxxxxxx no more 1xxxxxxxx

I only download V23 patch thru OTA which is 11.4MB, sms from number not in contact list shown full +601XXXXXXXX & can reply.

I off MiCloud service as I don't need them, could that be the reason, MiCloud message service ??

Thank you for the invitation & highlights, we have informed our TS kamikaze to start V13 thread, meanwhile we will continue comments here while waiting for him, in case admin close this thread we will refrained from comments till kamikaze V13 thread starts.

Anyway congratulation for starting new V13 thread with only 1 comment minus your own since morning. .lol

Admin did mentioned previously that they allowed multiple thread on Mi3 to co exist, may the "better" one survived.
