QUOTE(LoveMeNot @ Jul 19 2014, 05:56 PM) After using this phone for about 2 weeks, and I noticed that my old phone s3 has a better camera than this. The outcome of snapshots are different. Kinda disappointed since I love taking photos i'm not really keen taking pic but u're too exaggerate bout s3 > mi3. i tested mi3 produce better quality but not much as we see. r u sure ur camera setting correct? do u need someone to teach u how to capture pic? |

QUOTE(kamikraze @ Jul 19 2014, 11:10 AM) I can't quote those post in closed thread.. u need to post it again here so I can quote your post.. Comparison between Mi3 stock browser and Google Chrome.Same goes to you, please remake the post here.. So i can quote the post and put into spoiler in 1st page. By using two most popular benchmarking tool, Sunspider and Peacekeeper, below is the result: Test environment: Factory load of MI3 with OTA (MIUI-JXDMYBD14.0) Latest Chrome browser from Playstore Stock MIUI browser Both data and cache cleared prior test Sunspider Javascript benchmark (lower is better) MIUI Stock browser (V1.0) - 728.8ms Chrome (v35.0.1916.138) - 754.1ms Peacekeeper (higher is better) MIUI Stock browser (V1.0) - 1182 Chrome (v35.0.1916.138) - 986 RAM usage (5 tabs opened with Google.com.my page) (lower is better) MIUI Stock browser (V1.0) - 113Mb Chrome (v35.0.1916.138) - 98Mb The test concludes, MIUI stock browser is performing a slight better on both tools, but Chrome utilized a little less RAM than MIUI stock browser. For some reason, Peacekeeper detect MIUI stock browser as Safari 4.0(are they using the same engine?) Pls see below below screen capture. Try to change setting to advance then make sure it's 13mp not lower. If not wrong when original the mp is lower 8mp i think need to set higher. And other setting like iso n stuff quite good if experiment diff kind of lightning and environment, if you take using auto, it only depends on the sensor and most picture taken are not as good if just left at auto, try manual and diff setting, you might notice sum diff. And the setting to make taking selfie look younger actually make it worst when taking scenery and stuff. |

I have this weird vibrating effect when I have songs playing, especially those heavy bass songs. It doesn't matter if I am playing songs with the Google Music app or the original Music app. I just find it funny and annoying sometimes. Why would I want my phone to be vibrating according to the bass beats when I have songs playing? It's the same when I have videos playing, whenever there's sound playing out from the speaker, the vibration with start. The vibration will stop when I pause the song or video. I don't get it, anyone experiencing this as well? Any idea on how to disable it?

Make/Take phone calls 2. Send/receive SMS/MMS 3. Access the internet 4. Take pictures These are the BASIC things the phone MUST be able to do, or it is NOT useful. The Mi-3 FAILS ALL FOUR OF THESE! 1. Call quality is fair to poor. most people have difficulty hearing and understanding me when I make a call. 2. I cannot send/recieve MMS. 3. Because the phone does not automatically switch to 3G after connecting to EDGE, I get no service when the EDGE signal drops. I have to switch to Airplane and back or sometimes reboot the phone. So the internet is not accesable and I don't get notifications. 4. As we all know, the camera quality sucks! This post has been edited by ycs: Jul 20 2014, 10:07 AM |
