Why dont want touch screen? I think you might need to buy a cover for the city dashboard, saw one in mudah b4....but not cheap....

QUOTE(mls_gamer @ Aug 22 2014, 12:09 PM) Bro, i dun want touch screen, dun want DVD player, dun want GPs.. dun want video... that why i get this player... Yours is which spec?? I think E-spec radio quiet ok...same as S+ spec? I think the S-pec radio is different if i am not wrong. If you have E-Spec, then also have to make sure the unit can support the steering wheel control. Mine is E-Spec. IMO, the speakers in City is not so good....my Inspira has better stock audio...not sure if changing the HU or speaker will be a better solution... QUOTE(mls_gamer @ Aug 22 2014, 12:21 PM) Mine is S+.....i tested the V spec city of my friend....sound a lot better than mine Mine got 4 speaker and 2 tweeter.... So player also effect the sound quality....my point of view lah... Possible...because of the more powerful built in amp....why dont you get an external amp instead? Surely will destroy Vspec speaker! But does Vspec has better speakers in the first place or the same speakers??? This post has been edited by Matrix: Aug 22 2014, 12:29 PM

QUOTE(dares @ Aug 23 2014, 12:29 AM) My current car and previous car also no dipstick at the automatic transmission. Current car is a Ford, previous was a Saga FLX SE CVT. So the City CVT doesn't come with dipstick doesn't really bother me actually Err...gearbox oil got dipstick one meh??? Never check my Inspira also...but i don't think there's one...those old AT box car got dipstick???

QUOTE(GSaw @ Aug 23 2014, 02:27 AM) Hi guys..been readin thru the posts..thanks for all the info n tips Need some advise tho.. Booked modern steel/e'spec/kl on 24/7/14. SA didnt give any discounts but gave these: free tint (cant remeber brand, rm800+, 80% IR), boot tray, coil mats. Is the smart tag n full tank compulsory items? Think i can squeeze for foglites n bootlid together since no discounts? Maybe just topup minimal amount.. Tho i paid deposit..loan approved (50k, 7yrs, MBB 2.7%) SA said only can advise on stock early sept..seriously thinking to checkout other honda outlets. Appreciate input from you guys..thanks in advance IMO. 80% IR Tint is sucks. Minimum 90%IR. You can shop around to get better discounts...Basically all those stuff adds up...maybe RM500 only.. Early sept is ok, about 2 weeks only, most likely Honda release stocks to dealers at same time every month. IMO, you can get better deal. Forget the free stuff, get the $$$!! Usually you should be able to get at least RM1k discount with some tint vouchers.

QUOTE(tboxmy @ Aug 23 2014, 08:41 AM) Manually got 12.6 km/l and dashboard shows 13km/l. Sporty is also efficient, yes? But that average is based on trip A, I think. Actually, not much difference between eco and normal..as long as no traffic jam, any car can also have good fc.

QUOTE(Kirsten @ Aug 26 2014, 08:55 AM) Initially I was shock with the 3 months wait time from Honda dealer. But after I visited a few showroom in penang then only I know that it is true.. E and V spec have to wait for 3 months.. Only blue would have ready stocks in some of the showroom. But not my preferred choice.. Why.. Why.. Why.. Why wait so long in Penang?? ...We wait usually 1 month+ only in KL/PJ. I thought the backlog should clear by now??? Maybe you can try Seberang Perai?

QUOTE(zLoto @ Aug 25 2014, 07:28 PM) BTW I manage to ask sc to change my engine oil at 1km, feel good about it Anyone know whether foglights in under warranty or not? p/s: tips for brand new car, keluar showroom terus check your angin tayar You shouldn't do that.....if you read through the threads...Honfa got special magic oil from factory meant for running-in your new engine for 10k km..... Now your car engine will never reach the true potential...and you will have sleepless night thinkinh about it every night. ...

QUOTE(zLoto @ Aug 27 2014, 01:53 PM) Thanks sifu for your kind of reply, will inform at the thread at 10k result, I sleep normally lor LOL. Btw, just to share some FC figures, been driving the City for almost 1.5 to 2 months liao i think. 1) 1st tank=9.xx km/l 2) 2nd tank=11.xx km/l (Still running on 2nd tank...) 100% City jam LDP/Kota Damansara/TTDI petrol=Petronas RON 95. For comparison, previous manual Savvy....9.xx km/l., Inspira 2.0L=7.xx km/l (or sometimes can be worst, depending on jam). I think this City 2014 FC blardy good. Furthermore, the figures there doesn't tell the whole story...Toyota sells a lot of HILUX..... After sales service in Malaysia all about the same...ran by bolehland people...you think got Japanese service level meh...

QUOTE(DaBestOne @ Aug 28 2014, 11:39 AM) Nice fc bro..Currently using Shell 95..should i consider to pump petronas for getting better fc? IMO, the petrol don't makes any difference in FC. But you can test yourself and be the judge. What impress me is a 1.5L car, much heaviear and use an Auto gearbox(CVT) can match or beat the FC of a smaller car with smaller cc. QUOTE(zLoto @ Aug 27 2014, 09:20 PM) LOL. I can confirm...it's no match for an Inspira....just enjoy the car for it's good points. No need to smoke-smoke here or there. But confirm can beat god-car....Paul tan already tested...LOL. This post has been edited by Matrix: Aug 28 2014, 12:38 PM

QUOTE(Ree73 @ Aug 28 2014, 05:00 PM) polish and wax, some ppl might say you pay other to scratch your car monthly? That is why I choose coating in the 1st place. 1 coat to last 3-5 years. If average out, it is on par or even cheaper than wax Problem is ...whatever coating you still need to go back to do regular maintenance...means money and time...
