how u guys start your engine early in the morning??
straight away press brake and push the start/stop button??
i realise if without press the brake, just push the start/stop button once, will on the LCD screen, then i push again the start/stop button, will on everything (all indicators at speedometer, aircond, power window, fold/unfold side mirror...etc). Then i push again the start/stop button, everything OFF.
my previous car i need to switch on the car first, then wait awhile untill all the lights at indicator gone only start the engine.
*
Turn on everything. Then wait for that blue engine temp icon to go away in a few seconds.

To me it's the road noise. Especially from below. Didn't notice that when I was test driving the car. Then again, it was a month back.
*
The road noise is ok, not bad at all. If you want less road noise at high speed, change to better tyres like Michellin P3ST.

Any discounts offered by any Honda SA for the City at the moment?

Also, wanna ask the owners here. Do you guys get the alternating free service up till 100k km or something like that? How does that work actually?
*
Check the maintenance section in honda.com.my It's all there.

Wanted to. My SA asked me to drive directly to any Michelin shop and sell off my tyre to them coz it's still very new. Need to top up abit. Not sure how abit is abit la haha
*
Your stock tyres trade in =RM90 satu biji. P3ST=RM 4XX (satu biji).

You do the maths.

I have asked for trade-in to AdvanDB previously...quoted RM 3xx for one donut. P3ST should be more expensive, so about there.

Generally roughly how much more expensive? Just A BIT?  Cuz I really like new honda city, and really planning to own one soonest possible! But kinda worry about spare parts and maintenance fee.. If I go for V spec, does it mean a higher maintenance fee compared to lower specs?
*
Same lar...,,unless your extra feature broke.....ex: Side mirror kena bang....sure V and E-spec more expensive because it's foldable motorized mirror. If no money, just downgrade to normal mirror lor if kena bang. tongue.gif

Your LCD Touch screen broke...no money? Change to RM200 radio lor.

Damn, they even have the feature that tilts the mirror downward when reversing? That's a damn good feature
*
i think its unnneccessary....remember, motorized parts tend to wear and tear, too much movement, means will die faster. IMO, manual folding is best...at most, turn off car auto folding is enough.

V or E Spec?
Can you pm me where do you book and how long is the waiting period. So far i have ask 1 place, they don't offer any cash rebate. sad.gif
*
Tell them go fly kite. Should be able to get 1.5k in discount or other forms (good tints etx). Year end, discount should be higher.

Hey all,

Just got my City a month ago and as of today I am happy with the overall performance. biggrin.gif

Anyway I have a question regards to the range estimation, I am actually monitoring the fuel consumption. While I was driving yesterday, I see the range stated 390 and after driving awhile figures shows as 364 then later on the figures goes back to 385.

Is this normal? I am wondering how does the range estimation calculated?

Thank you in advance!
*
Normal...it is calculated based on your avg FC km/l and the amount of fuel left in tank.
You naik genting, avg FC increased, mileage reduced...you turun genting, avg FC reduced, estimated mileage goes up.

As long as you still wash your own car, put up any waxes/sealant, it is good start.

Nowadays people take care of their phone more than their cars that is more than 10x expensive lol.
*
HP very easy to maintain...just buy cover and snap it on, no need to wash every week...100x easiaer maintenance!!! LOL.

Hi guy, wanna check with you.. for the 1st 1000km drive, we need to maintain RPM within 2-3 or below 100km/hr ar??
hmm.gif
*
Many school of thoughts..some says drive conservatively, some says whack kaw-ka2, some say just drive normally.

I chose normal. Right or wrong, nobody has a straight answer.
