Yes it is 503L. The firmwares cant be used for local set and vice versa

Update firmware by downloading the ROM and extract to SD card root folder, it will contain always a folder "dload". Make sure it is there. Then go to settings -> updates -> system updates -> local update
The ROM will then do its magic

Make sure your SD card MUST be in FAT32 format and have got more than 6GB free space, battery power >30% or plug in power

Well, after playing with the phone over lunch time, I love the new interface. Some have commented the fonts are big but for me it's acceptable
I especially like the subtle lock screen improvements
i do notice the battery drain when idle is faster than the previous version but at this point i can't be sure as i haven't restored everything

From the backup, home screen icon arrangement can't be restored so u gotta re-do the icons/widgets all over again. A small setback but nothing serious

That is Huawei style, I,m using ascend mate, the OTA only available until Emui 1.6, you have to download unicorn version which w/o gapps.. that you have to flash gapps yourself..

and about the custom rom... for mate series is a joke.....

If i rooted the device, maybe possible stock online updates loses.
My question is, if i Unroot it back, can i perform online updates to my device??

if u didn't delete any system apps after root u can direct OTA update
even if u deleted system apps u will still get notification for update, but u couldn't complete the update

if u face this situation, flash ROM manually

is there any way to disable notification bar with ADB shell package and USB debugging , instead of rooting the device?

Does anyone having a problem of incoming calls on x1?...seems like sometimes my x1 having trouble to received incoming calls. It appers to be 'out of coverage area' but on my phone showing as 'My Maxis'.. this happen to me for the past 3 days already...anyone having same problem with me?

No problem on receiving/calling, using celcom. i guess ur problem might be a network related.

I have never face any call problems with this phone before. I can even say signal reception is better than Samsung phones. Previously in office I get weak 1-2 bar 4G signals on Samsung phones but the X1 I get consistently full 1 bar short of full

If u get full bar signal on your phone but voice calls still can't get through it could be network congestion. Try call to/from your office phone to check. If phone show weak signal then it is maxshit problem

tried to use USB DAC on X1, but doesn't work as plug and play.. too bad

yup...I sometimes do check and call my X1 regularly, just to check weather it can recvd incoming calls or not. Might be the network congested. But this morning same thing happened. People can't get thru me. Saying as 'Out of coverage area'. Maybe my Maxis line got problem or congested.

I updated my firmware version to 7D-501L100R001C324B007.

And I must say it is much more stable and the DTS function are back! haha!
