ROM update release for international version 501L is darn slow vs China 503L.
I have already passed down this phablet to my wife as she like the size. She uses it as a mini tablet n had commented it is way much better in performance n smoothness vs her Tab 10.1
I am now using LG G Pro2 as my main driver while the Oppo Find 7 is my secondary phone. The LG is an amazing phablet with good battery life of at least 7-8 hours SOT easily while the Find7 is poorer at 4-5 hours only because of its 2k display. Had tested several roms on Find7 n battery life quite similar. Latest Gummy rom seems better but still too early to conclude as on it half a day only. I would say Find7 is the best performance phablet I have used to date

7D-503L cannot flash it on our 501L?


I wonder why I'm having the stuttering problem.Watched a YouTube video about the difference between JB & KK using chrome seems like I have the same stuttering as the JB.I hope KK update will solve my problem.(tried other browser like dolphin also the same results)

Have failed testing 503L firmware on 501L . I remember Joytest also failed flashing
I don't n had never like Chrome which I rate to be worst Android browser a big failure from Google. It is excellent n is my only browser on my Mac. Try use other browser eg Boat or Dolphin n I had never faced such stuttering issues on YouTube

mine also have the stuttering issue.like uncle benny,i stop using chrome on all my phones and rely solely on stock browser.on stock browser the youtube still stutter but if u click it to fullscreen the playback will be smooth like it supposed to be.

Sorry late reply. Fully attached to screen if applied properly. I bought 2 units. The first piece, I applied and gaps/air bubbles appeared.
Second piece, perfect.
The thing is, with ttempered glass, have to align properly and drop it all at once. If you bend it, it gives you the gaps.

Asphalt 8 just runs in Low visual quality and Medium and High options is off. Is there any one can help me how can play asphalt in high quality in X1?
I installed this game on other devices like Desire 816 and LG L90 and no problem occurred.

I think Huawei forgot they release an international version of this device. Might be also they thinks only have Honor X1 but no Mediapad X1.

They should at least release source code so people can built custom rom.

Bought X1 a few months a ago. Enjoyed a lot but found a problem with it.
Used the free casing from DirectD, when I flip the cover back the screen turns off.
Do you guys think its a software or hardware problem?

p.s. sometimes it happens, other times it doesnt.

Quite the same but mine got huawei X1 logo in front. Also the quality not that great (free)

Mine opens ok but when i put the front cover to back panel, the screen turns off. But it has to be correctly
aligned with the back panel.

Did you guys off the window setting on the display?

I have just spoke to Huawei Support in SG and technical person in China via conference call. They mentioned that the firmware update to 4.4 will be out on 1 Sept. The reason is that they need time to get approval from Google before releasing the firmware.
