funny that it failed. md5 checksum correct. but I'm guessing checksum don't guarantee file corrupted, right?

ok, will download again.

I'm still undecided on the recovery. currently prefer TWRP though.

yes, there is... which is surprising for me when i first found out about it. should have been free within the country.

anyway, yes... there is and if you're shipping to USA itself, they said (in official forum) pointless to pay for express. regular mail is good enough in most cases.

there have been complaints that express service still use regular mail instead of FedEx. and in some cases, regular ones arrived faster than express.

I've only seen my own OnePlus One screen so far...

honestly, you might not really notice it. for my case anyway. like someone said earlier, he won't have known about it till he read it here.

but then again, maybe different unit, different severity.

and I think in most cases, likely to be just glue.

the display panel they use isn't those cheapo brandless ones and as mentioned in many forums, using colorOS, it does not seem appear.

USA coz easier to find forwarder. also, it's cheaper (the phone set) in USA.

whether way, USA or Hong Kong, you need to find someone to shop back to you. OnePlus ships only to launch countries.

why need one? cost of shipping, etc is about the same as getting from local resellers anyway.

and... claiming warranty also a problem unless you live launch countries.

tell them what I want, tell them I wanna inspect, open box, inspect, pay... so far, thank goodness, no need claim warranty.

got yellow tint a bit, but I think it's ok. but really noticeable. the date on box... I think it's 28th June.
