As I said different retailers may use different additives. I normally use Petronas RON 95. Tried BHP RON97, felt the following difference:
1. Smoother acceleration
2. Slight boost in power

Did not calculate FC, don't know if better!

Have gone back to RON 95 cos I'm satisfied with it's performance.

I am trying bhp97 and have the same observation as you bro compared to shell 97. The last i tried with shell 97 i felt very high consumption.

I heard bhp petrol is euro 3 so very less sulphur content compared to others for cleaner engine.

Tks for your feedback bro. How is the FC? If you find better FC, then might as well we use this fuel.

Have set the trip meter and will check and see and will report once the petrol goes empty.

Last week I put in Shell RM50 on a Friday and by Monday it is almost empty. Was really surprised as I didn't travel much. But didn't take the reading.

Hi Guys

Regarding the previous questions on FOG Lights. The original TE model got only 1 Fog Light. The TS and TL model has 2.

Not sure if we can fix the other fog light for TE.

Hi Guys

On the BHP Petrol - I contacted BHP and they have informed that their Petrol - Both 95 and 97 is from Singapore. The Sulphur content is consistent lower than Euro 2 petrol which is 500 ppm. They have informed that they cannot claim the petrol is Euro 3 or 4 until sulphur level is consistently lower. Good explanation from them.

You are right bro. I go to a station at Jalan Ipoh. As though not very interested in my business only. Not very friendly. The Shell station at 4th mile Jalan Ipoh very nice people. But I am still trying BHP.

Tks for the feedback. With that news I am deciding to switch to either BHP or Caltex RON97. Want to know more about Caltex, which claims an engine cleaning additive.
*
Let me check it out with Caltex guys.

Hissing sound means an escape of compressed air. From what you said, I feel the turbo wastegates do not open dump air upon engine shut down. As a result air is hissing out to atmosphere!

Just a wild guess! biggrin.gif

Thanks bro your explanation. Will inform my friend to check with the service guys.

Hi Guys

Just need some help if anyone familiar with re-spraying. Ok the problem when I got my car I found a lot of paint defects such as water marks, sand marks, swirls and such. I have reported to Glenmarie within a week.

They are suggesting a another layer of paint but a friend told me by just re-spraying another layer, sooner or later, the defects will re-emerge.

The defects are all over the car - bonnet/booth/roof/sides

What should I ask them to do?

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

This is true, not everone sama.....mine is $86 for 450km, city driving.I'm moderate foot. I'm sure others with light foot will return better FC.
*
Only got 320km with RM100 Ron 97 BHP. I find that my last remaining 170 -180 km with petrol left drops fast. sometimes drive around 20km and straight drops to 100km remaining and then it drops fast.

now testing caltex. shows have completed 267 km and left 123km.
