question .. who feeds RON97 to their cats?

i'm feeding my pug with RON95 to my pug since day 1

no mahnee problem sad.gif
*
Our car tuned to accept lower fuel grade, shouldnt be any problem with 95.
And even we pump 97, won't affect much on the power and FC.

But for smoother ride, and since the price not much diff... Y not 97

When you trade-in your previous ride and the previous car still in loan. Do you cancel the loan or let the 2nd car dealer to use it?
*
Settle the loan -> trade-in and buy new car

I was thinking the gear box replacement cost need to bear by owner are not reasonable if he service record was good, car only 2 years still under warranty. we dont really know the fact of the matters so we cannot comment too much..
*
True..
We dont know the story behind...
And i believe, if the car is under warranty, the cost would be definitely FOC for him.

Take note on your mileage. You will see more mileage obtain. I got extra 50km-80km. As for power, i really dont feel any difference. Hahahaha.
*
I pumped Ron97 last week, haven't finish the fuel, but seems like can get extra mileage.
And agree no extra power, but got a smoother ride.
Worth to pump for the diff of Rm0.20

Hey guys, it's been long. Just some updates, I have just sent my car in for possible coolant leakage. Before 30K service in Oct, the car has already gave low coolant message but they couldn't find anything wrong. So they just topped up the coolant. Last week before I drove up to Penang, I checked the level before leaving and found it low so I topped up with water and left for Penang. Reaching Penang the low coolant message came out again. So high possibility there is leakage somewhere.
*
I had the same problem before, low level of coolant, need topup every week.
Sent in SC, found out leakage at water pump claimed under warranty.

I notice many SCs are just plain lazy to carry out a proper investigation on a complaint. They clear the fault log and send off the car. Poor management, unfortunately there's plenty of this!

Next time take a snap shot of the msg, have it printed. Give the SC a copy when you send in your car. Basically you are forcing them to instigate the problem. Tell them you know this msg will be in the fault log.
*
For my case, I dont have any error code.
Physical check on the coolant den only find out.

SKYjack, yah will take note to do that in the future.

jfcheong, one thing I am not complaining is that our car prompt msg when the level is low  smile.gif  How long did you have to wait for the water pump replacement?
*
My coolant was not exactly extreme low maybe, thats y didnt trigger the msg.
I waited for around 1 week for the part to arrive.
At the meanwhile, suggest you top up with battery water.
Avoid using pipe water

my goodness! 2012?! that's too much.. BTW, anybody using Toyo Proxes C1S or T1S? I used to have C1S on my previous Ford Focus, nice tyres. But then I can't compare with MC5 as both sets are on different car with different kind of characteristics.
*
I am using T1R now...
Advise is topup a little bit for PS3

So, T1R and MC5.. care to compare?
*
I prefer T1R over stock MC5
Grip: PS3 > T1R > MC5
Noise: T1R > MC5 > pS3

How much is T1R? I've just changed to MC5, did alignment. Perfect now, got rid of the infamous left pull! MC5 does appear more comfortable than the original CS3 that came with the car.

Btw, both my rears are still the CS3 that came with the car. 35Kkm already still can go for another 5K - 7K!
*
I got Rm500 per piece.
How much is ur MC5?

Planning to send in for alignment/ rotation/ balancing. No time yet
