even if you did not fill in your car loan, they still can view by checking your ccris, however, ptptn is not listed there.
do you have other loans or cc? they are able to view as well.
you may attach more documents when reapplying like your bank statement, epf, tax, etc.

Nope, that's the only loan i have for now. Just started work since last year. So means my car loan with TOYOTA Financial will affect i got the approval of applying credit card? But I haven't got the car and start paying the installment. Maybe i should try reapply with more supporting document.

You may try and appeal because your car loan would not affect your application unless you do not pay.

yes, once a loan (except for ptptn) is approved, it will be listed in your ccris. if you apply for any loan/cc with any financial institution later, they will be given the right to check on you and view your credit report.

i think you may need to wait at least 3 months before reapply. with 2.9k/month and a 56k loan just approved recently, some financial institution would feel risky to approve another loan/cc to you. they would want to check how well is your payment but you still have not started to pay any instalment yet, so it's hard for them to judge.

actually it may be easier if your car loan and cc application are from the same financial institution, but unfortunately not your case.

Just a simple letter to Maybank telling them to reconsider your application. You may start with an email to mbbcardservices@maybank.com.my telling them your intention to appeal. They will be able to guide you from there. But still, you have to expect the worst because i believe this is one of the toughest card to apply .

it will be easier if you choose grocery as your wise category. when you free, just buy rm50 voucher at any tesco/aeon big/giant. then you can use it to buy anything late, or give/sell to your family members, or pack the vouchers in angpau to give for wedding dinners or during cny. lol... laugh.gif

ezy cash offers to Maybank card holders. 3.88% one time handling charges for 6 months repayment. Min request is rm2000 up to 90% of CL.

Anyone mind to tell me what is the effective rate for this package? Im usually take 2.99% one time handling charge of Call for Cash by OCBC for 12 months repayment.

why bother to pay interest when there are so many 0% BT out there.

3.88% for 6 months is equal to 7.76% per annum if u wanna calc.
