Guys, just want a reconfirmation, is the 20 days interest free calculated from the date of transaction or the date of the statement?

Thank you in advance.

Did anyone knows about the free camera that you can redeem for new applicants? I was told by the person who called, that if I spent around RM250, I can redeem a free camera but I found no info regarding this.

Maybe someone can shed some lights into this.

Thank you.

Thanks, I believe thats the one, I assumed that they will contact the eligible applicants if he/she qualifies, so no form or anything to submit.

Hi guys, I planning to buy a phone and wanted to pay it using the Ezypay method, but the salesperson said that I have to add another RM150 extra in order to use that feature.

So, the total would be RM1859 + RM150 = RM2009 / 12 = 167.42 per month

However, I found out about the Ezypay Plus promotion where you can convert your purchase into an instalment - http://www.maybank2u.com.my/mbb_info/m2u/p.../PRO-Promotions

and I'd calculated the total to be as such:
1859 + 37.18 + 56.89 = 1953.07 / 10 = 195.31 per month

1859 (Phone price)
37.18 (2% fee for CC payment)
56.89 (3% interest based on the promotion)

I'm thinking of using the second method as there's a ~RM56 difference between the two (given that my calculation were correct)

I'm seeking any opinion from the experts here regarding this.

Thank you in advance.

so it means if you use ezypay (12 months) method, they will charge a one-time fee of rm150, no 2% fee for cc payment anymore right?
if not, they will charge a 2% fee for cc payment right?
usually, a shop will charge 5% for ezypay (12 months), rm150 in your case means close to 8.1% already.

if that's the case, your calculation is correct. second method is better.

Yes, that is what I was told the other day, going to confirm with the shop again later on that.

That's their shop's policy I guess, I thought they offered Ezypay just like Dell where I bought my PC before, or maybe just an extra 2-3% charge, I was surprised to be told about the RM150 charge for the Ezypay.

Hi guys, I don't know if this was asked before, here's the situation:

Let's say I have a CL of 6k, and 2 installments - 2k and 1.5k

Say for the 1st installment, the monthly payment is RM167 and the 2nd installment is RM125.

My impression at first was 6000 - 167 - 125 = RM5708 (new CL every month)

but I was told that it is 6000 - 2000 - 1500 = RM2500

So, can someone enlighten me here on which is the correct calculation?

Thank you.

The bolded part is correct. The total amount (2k & 1.5k) is "locked" in your available credit and will be "released" month by month when you pay the installment.
