This is what I do.

Put a big plastic bag below the aircon. I have this plastic bag specially for aircon service. I don't no where to get already. The last I saw is in homefix, 1U.

Spray the coil, blower and anywhere. (Not the electrical side) Use brush.

Rinse it buy spray pressure. I use the ACE 2L garden pressure spray. Cause the nose is long and can go into the blower.

Take down the plastic back that collect the drain water.

Wait till night time only ON back the power to the aircon. To fully dried out the water and incase sip into the electrical side.

* The last is, I spray some dettol dilute with water into the coil. It help kill some germ on the coil, drainer and the drain pipe. Kill the smell too.

sounds complicated to me.. i will be more worry biggrin.gif

anything in the market is pre-made and ready to use one?
*
If complicated, forget about the 35% hydrogen peroxide and the dilution.
Just go pharmacy buy the ready to use 3% or 6% in small bottle. Around Rm6+. Can also be used for standby first aid for minor cuts and bruises.

Add on:
Oh ya, hydrogen peroxide in low concentrations (3% or 6% ) is definitely friendly to your aircon.if it can apply to human, aircond lagi no problem. After all, it is water with extra oxygen atom.

But not sure ok or not for AC

Mould, bacteria are just microbes. H2O2 (hydrogen peroxide) kills them by breaking down their wall structure. This type is solution used in many places especially organic farms. No farmer in their right mind will allow entry into the farm indiscriminately because whatever is carried on the soles of anybody's shoes can potentially harbour microbes that will just wipe a farm out. Even the underside of workers boots are disinfected this way daily or based on their best practice.

To reproduce this effect, get a plasmacluster AC.

i just bought this yesterday and try out.

waxco diy aircon cleaner.

quite effective to clean the dust inside cooling coil.

after spray left for 5mins to dissolve with dust, then turn on aircon for 15mins minimum as per instruction, but i turn on straight 2hours.

the condensation in the cooling coil will cause water droplet bring along the dust and drain out automatically from drain pan.

so it's a real easy diy to use.

after complete, only remember forgotten to clean aircon blower laugh.gif

Thanks for tip thumbup.gif , very good product and definitely the foam dissolves the dust inside the cooling coil. Recommended for anyone who wants DIY clean their indoor unit cooling coil thumbsup.gif

30ml too little, should buy at least 100ml. Because you need to put into a sprayer.
Anyway, mix the 30ml 6% HP with equal amount of distilled water in a used spray bottle. Then spray your ac.
I have 500ml 35% h2o2, can make a lot of 3% h2o2. if you need more hp, I can share it with you.

Below is picture of 3% hp in a spray bottle.

means with my this 30ml hp, i can only have 60ml (after mix with dilute water) to spray, right?

after spray, no need to rinse, and just let it sit and dry, right?
