I switched off my Stup1d 3G and GPRS... I was shocked, within 5 days (14-19 Dec) (since the last bill) it racked up to RM75.00 (Am using Maxis plan 75)... Now the BillTODATE stands at RM96.00! Wow!

My AVERAGED bill so far PER MONTH is between RM90- 110. Now the 8th day already 96.00...

Anyway, it's been 4 days since I switched off my 3G and GPRS. Now my battery LIFE's good... It's been 40 hours since last charge. Recharging 5 mins ago...

As comparison, the battery lasted 15 hours only last week when I played Mp3 2 hrs a day AND use the GPRS/3G portal 1 hr a day (from 12 to 19 Dec)... PHARK 3G! Mahal Betul!

3G (fast compare with GPRS) doesn't mean more expensive but by your usage (count by packets). The charges (count by packets) for GPRS & 3G is the same.

3g and gprs prices count per packets are the same meh..? i thought 3g more expensive>?

Cannot decide on either w810i, k610i or 618i.

Read somewhere (comment from k610i user) that there when searching for contact on the hp, can only search the first character? Is it true? Anyone got problem with the this on the 618i?

Any comment on the 618i?

if u can best is get a w810 lor.. better camera and walkman phone while the memory card is also cheaper than m2.. all SE phone search contact list by 1st alphabet of a person's name..

i think wat he try to means is k618i not support multicharacter search...

i am not sure if k618i does not support multicharacter at the moment, but even so, u just hv to hope that next firmware released will fix that.. tat happened to a lot of se phone esp when just released, but then multicharacter search is enabled at later firmware..

The best advise is to see the phone for yourself.

K618i and K610i are about the same except for the package & casing.Both of them can perform multi character search .

I own a K610i and my comments the things that i dont like are :

a) Their sound quality ( using phone speakers) isnt really that good.You will have to listen for yourself to be the judge of that.The built in music player is ok if you listen to music through the handsfree kit instead.

b) The camera doesnt have AF (Auto Focus) and is terrible taking close shots or in poor lighting.

but then again they are a value buy for 3g phones.

W810i has better camera and mp3 player but no 3G.

So it depends what you are looking for?

well.. if ur not a 3g user than get w810 lor.. w810 is more to entertainment la..

if not apply any Rm25 / Rm99 package, its the same charges. (for maxis)

I'm a K618i user myself but I'm also getting a K800i. Both are good phones and it depends on what you really need.

Does anyone knows where to get K618 screen protector?
I have been searching everywhere, but many shops do not have it.

Got mine together with the phone for free. I think its the same with k610i screen protector. The only problem is to get the clear case.

Try contacting Clareen lor, she might have it, she's a member here.

I think I've PMed her already. But att that time she said no stocks finished for k618. I'll try ask her again.
