You can't compare K800i camera quality with K618i ones, as there're different class altogether (just like you can't compare k800 price with k618 price)

However it makes sense to complete the design since price has got no direct relationship with the beauty of design (and it's quite subjective also, different people got different taste)

Regarding the price, even it exceeds 1k, it won't go too much beyond that Nice price for those who don't need excellent camera IMO

went to klcc sony ericsson shop (near sonystyle.. sonystyle still dun have k618i tho).. selling for rm1499 but only in black
then went next door (hello station i think) and also selling k618i in black only (was told by the shop assistant jimmy that white may not come as a lot of complaints that the white casing turns yellowish overtime).. selling at rm1299 for a midland unit...

why diff of rm200? no idea..

k618i looks nice (not much diff from k610i) and refreshing to most nokia's i've used..

decided not to purchase k618i after introduced to nokia's 6280 and n73 but in the end 6280 won due to lag in the n73.. juz need a simple phone anyways..

my fren jz got a k618i...red color one the phone...damn nice...he said he got lobang for the phone..but dowan tell me price..

well i agree with iRonTech, K618i can't compare with W800i as it is future proof for 2-3 years at least...
but W800i duno can tahan how long... coz 3G is becoming more commonly used ...
I hope 3G wif maxis will reach Ipoh soon... so i can take their package...
Penang also have some problem... can't get 3G line near my place...

what about the quality of camera, does the absence AF play significant role>?

btw i dont camera function will affect my decision, but i'm waiting for the price to drop down abit first. budget still tight  haha

Just bought it at Lowyat last saturday. Seems that AP set is not available anywhere, so i bought the original.
Even the ori set price differs a lot between shops (rm1080-1299).
I got mine at rm 1080 ori set.
Set bundled together with 256M2 stick.
So far no hang and interface response is ok. Display is brilliant.
The phone looks cool bcoz of the black and orange design.
No cracking sound when squeezed and casing feels solid.
Music player got equalizer but no mega bass(not w series)
Batery life not sure coz still new.
M2 located at the side and can hot swap.
Bat can be charged using usb using transfer mode or phone mode.
if using transfer mode, the phone acts like a thumbdrive, phone function (calls)  is switched off. if phone mode, u can use the phone function but cannot transfer files.

oh okay.. what about the media player? same as k750 as well?

the speaker is louder than w810's.

i thought all SE phone that that my frens function???

found out an annoying bug in de k618 firmware yesterday. it failed to record incoming calls history. made a trip to the service centre and get it flashed/upgraded to fix the bug.

b4 that, called them n  they said its not advisable to flash de firmware yourself (anything wrong will void the warranty). is that true?

yea, that's right. right button. sometimes it works, but when it works it seems like the phone lags behind my action.you know what i mean? like lets say i press the right button...only after more than 4 or 5 seconds the menu pop out. but most of the time the button doesn't work anymore and the menu comes out anytime it wants
