Hmm ...... sounds weird, just worried that the dealer might swap the original battery with a fake one, if possible, asked someone to check whether the battery is genuine or not. As far as I know, my K618i gave me a very good standby and talk time and FYI, the battery used for this model is a high capacity one so battery drain shouldn't be a problem.

You can probably reduce the bitrates for the video and audio for mp4 and 3gp files. A proper encoder will allow you to do so. I noticed my P900i could play mp4 movies are high bitrates and at 30 fps per second but not so on my K618, I have to reduce the bitrates by half and at 15 fps beceause the movies will play smoothly. Weird, eh? Could it be due to the fact that P900i has a built in processor?

.3gp files try to adjust the bitrate lower.. for /mp4 also same lor so the video wont hang when ur watching it.. normally my video only 15fps..

why is w810 camera better than k618? i tot both of them got 2MP camera?

w810 got AutoFocus while k618 dun have..

AF function in the phone also makes it thicker.

The lense in K618i is not that great.

If u take a scenery photo and blow it up on a monitor screen to the actual size of 2MP, u can see detail definition is poor, trees leaves, especially pine trees will become blurred. Compare that to a proper camera or even a camerafon with proper optics(like those phones Zeiss or Leica lenses) and u'll see the difference. But for close up shots in bright lights, it is still barely acceptable.

Hahaha, found the reason why my phone batt can't last long.

As I suspected, when MyPhoneExplorer is on, it monitors the phone actively for incoming calls, SMSs, and keeps track of batt level on the PC, so the bluetooth on the phone is always connected to PC and transmitting constantly ,the bluetooth icon on the phone will show that. When MPE is off, the standby time increased a few folds, using only 5-10% of batt life over 24 hrs instead of >50% batt life during work hours with MPE on.

I prefer not to connect by USB as USB ports on my laptop is limited and not very stable due to some reason, will get the laptoon fixed then only will use MPE actively.

Anyway it depends whether yours is an AP or Ori set. AP sets will loose more for sure but my advice, keep it, it's not a bad hp after all, just that the camera is below average but overall, it's a good hp. Don't you agree with me?
